BIBLICAL CIPHERS AND CODES - SEASON ONE - PART ONE

(REVEALING JESUS CHRIST THROUGH PROPHECY AND OUR CALLING)

Below is an example of a ciphered or coded message I'm sending to you, and in the course of this series I'll provide the key for you to decipher the message:

Growing up there were two subjects that I found fascinating: “Quantitative Aptitude” and “Verbal Reasoning”. These subjects involved challenging ciphers using shapes, letters, and numbers. The exercises required you to decipher a key or pattern to solve a message or fill in blank spots. The ciphers were initially troublesome, but after a few minutes of trying different hypotheses, you would discover the key. Cracking the cipher would fill me with joy and a desire to share the key with others, a feeling I'm sure anyone who enjoys puzzles and games can relate to. For instance, top rated video games embed ciphers where the character has to move objects to a certain place, or turn dials in a certain way, or order, to unlock a door or secret passage way to advance in the game.

Anyway before I give you the key to the ciphered message at the end of the series, take a moment to write down all the characters and spend a minute or two trying to crack the code on your own. Extra points to you if you figure it out.

Now let's discuss a bit about why ciphers and codes matter, and why I'm drawing your attention to them.

GOD THE MASTER CIPHER

The Master of cipher and cryptography is none other than God Himself. You may not realize it at first glance, but the Bible is the most enigmatic literature of all time, filled with codes and ciphers hidden in plain sight, with it's words only divulging their secrets at just the right epoch of time. This is why the Bible bears relevance in every generation, because it not only records history, but those historic records are encoded with prophetic mysteries that unfold beyond the original context of writing, and are still unfolding to this very day. I'll elaborate a bit so you can understand what I've just said, but the main point is that the words of the Bible are not mere words, but ciphers that can only be decoded or understood by the help of the Holy Spirit (John 6:63,
1 Corinthians 2:12-14).

God is deeply involved in cryptography, as shown throughout the Old and New Testaments.

Proverbs 25:2 NIV
@2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.

This Passage confirms that God is into concealing things, but NOT because He wants them to remain hidden. His ultimate desire is to reveal them to those who ask and seek after Him (Luke 11:9-13).

Jeremiah 33:3 NIV
@3 ‘CALL TO ME AND I WILL ANSWER YOU and tell you great and UNSEARCHABLE THINGS you do not know.’

Jeremiah 29:11-14 NIV

Playing as kids, the joy of hide and seek for the one who hides is not to be frustratingly difficult to be found by the seeker, so that the seeker loses interest all together and stops seeking; but that they posed enough of a challenge and after a few close calls the seeker eventually stumbles on their hiding spot. I mean you almost can't help but giggle when the seeker gets close, almost as if to give off your position. And once the seeker finds you, out flows a stream of euphonious laughter from both of you. So the joy and anticipation for the one who hides is to know that someone is searching for them. And the joy of the seeker is that after leaving no stones unturned they finally find the one they were searching for.

So when you realize that these things of God are hidden not to frustrate you, but to woo you to an unspeakable joy, the search becomes rewarding instead of burdensome.

In this part of the series we would begin exploring the example of the remarkable cipher that is hidden in the Biblical Festivals of God.

THE BIBLICAL FESTIVALS OF GOD - THE CIPHER OF ALL AGES

There is a Free book where we go into details to explore the Festivals and their hidden meanings as it applies to Jesus Christ and us, the New Testament believers. The link to the book is at the end. This is one of the most profound ciphers in the Bible, and I'd be highlighting parts of it with reference to the book.

To put it briefly, the Biblical Festivals which God commanded in Leviticus 23:1-44 are a dress rehearsal to remind us of CREATION, the plan of REDEMPTION, the promise of RESTORATION and the guarantee of RETRIBUTION. And in this well Scripted masterpiece of God, there are dual fulfillments that apply first to Jesus Christ, and then as a pattern for us to follow.

In the book you'll discover that the first Festival, which is the weekly Sabbath (Lev 23:3), that originated after CREATION (Gen 2:1-3, Exodus 20:8-11), ought to have been the only Festival mankind needed. But after the fall into sin, God instituted the other festivals to showcase His masterpiece plan to REDEEM and RESTORE His Creation, and also to bring about judgment and RETRIBUTION to all who rebel against Him.

In the book we get to talk about the RETRIBUTION, but it wasn't highlighted like the other two “R’s” (i.e. REDEMPTION and RESTORATION). So this post would better highlight the aspect of RETRIBUTION, which is mainly connected to the last three Fall Festivals.

THE SPRING FESTIVALS

The first set of Spring Festivals, i.e. the Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Feast of Firstfruit and Feast of Weeks (Pentecost), are mainly connected to the REDEMPTIVE plan of God, and they contain intricate details of Jesus’s coming, Passion, death and Resurrection. Unveiling these ciphers associated with the Festivals provides a deeper appreciation and understanding of how Jesus Christ came to fulfill the Law and the Prophets (Matt 5:17-18).

However, just as Jesus Christ is the primary fulfillment of REDEMPTION and RECONCILIATION (Rom 5:9-11), God has also enlisted us to co-labor with Him and bring others to RECONCILIATION (1 Cor 3:9, 2 Cor 5:18-20).

Observe the similarity, just as Jesus Christ was sent into the world, so also have we been sent into the world (John 20:21). And just as Jesus Christ was willing to lay down His life for us, so also should we be willing to lay down our lives for others (John 15:12-13, 1 John 3:16-18). This involves us being living sacrifices and willing to be of service to others (Rom 12:1, 9-17, *Matt 20:25-28*). But it could also call for the ultimate sacrifice of one literally dying for the sake of others. If it ever comes to that, have no fear your victory in Christ is already secure (1 Cor 15:55-58, Heb 2:14-15, Rev 12:11, Heb 10:39, 1 John 4:16-21).

Still on similarities, just as Jesus Christ had a Kingly and Priestly ordination according to the Zechariah prophecy which we saw earlier on, so also have we been made to be kings and priests onto God (Exo 19:6, Rev 5:10, 1:5-6, 1 Peter 2:4-5, 9-10). Jesus Christ is our King, and we are destined to be kings reigning alongside Him (Rev 20:6, 2 Tim 2:11-12); Hence He is the King of kings (Rev 19:16).

So you can see that understanding the mystery behind the Biblical festivals not only gives you insights to better understand and appreciate the achievements of Jesus Christ, but it also provides you with the ancient Script that perfectly mirrors the New Testament commands we have as Christians.

This is a continuation of our exploration of the cipher hidden in the Biblical Festivals of God.

In this part of the series we would be discussing the last Festival in the set of the Fall Festivals, and we'll discover the profound mysteries associated with the end times. A lot of people find it difficult to understand end time prophecies, whereas God has long disclosed this mystery through His Festivals. So this, like the previous parts, would be an eye-opener.

Now let's get right into it.

THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES

Lastly, the Feast of Tabernacles is the concluding hope where we would dwell, or Tabernacle, with the Lord forever (John 14:1-3, Revelation 21:2-5). It is around this time that the other aspect of RESTORATION that began at Trumpets would continue, i.e. the RENEWAL of Earth and Heaven (Isaiah 65:17-19, Revelation 21:1-8, 2 Peter 3:13-14, Isaiah 66:22-24).

Meanwhile, Scripture also associates the Feast of Tabernacles with RETRIBUTION, especially via the prophecy of Zechariah (Zechariah 14:12-19).

If you remember, I said that the final RESTORATION of all things would occur at, or after, the Feast of Tabernacles, and the reason for that statement is mainly due to the prophecy in Zechariah as compared with those in the book of Revelation.

I mean we know that at the end of the age, after defeating, and casting the beast (antichrist) and false prophet into the eternal lake of fire (Revelation 19:11-20), there would be a period of a thousand years where Jesus Christ would be with us here on earth ruling; and the first resurrection of the saints would occur, synonymous to the RESTORATIVE aspect of the Feast of Trumpets (Revelation 20:1-6, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53).

This thousand year reign can be viewed as a time of Tabernacles, because Jesus Christ would be here with us. And I believe the prophecy in Zechariah applies to this era of the thousand years, wherein year by year we would still be commemorating each Festival; and those who failed to commemorate the Feast of Tabernacles would experience the RETRIBUTION of Jesus Christ.

However, at this point the earth would NOT have had the experience of FULL RESTORATION ...

And speaking of ciphers, let me disclose the key to the cipher in the beginning, so that you can unlock the message if you haven't already.

I'll recommend you get a pen and paper and write the cipher leaving a line of space below to decrypt the message. And it would also help to have the alphabets A-Z written before you. The key to the cipher is that each letter of the alphabet is transposed one step forward to create the code. All that to say:

Alphabet | Encryption
A = B,
B = C,
C = D,
E = F,
…
X = Y,
Y = Z,
and I've decided for my cipher that
Z = “A”, after all the Bible says “the first shall be the last and the last first”(Mark 10:31 paraphrased).

So to decrypt the message you need to transpose each letter one step backwards. I'll decrypt the first word, and leave you to do the rest:

BIBLICAL CIPHERS AND CODES - SEASON TWO - PART ONE

(THE ANTICHRIST AND THE END TIMES)

RECAP

In the prequel, we identified God as the Master of Cipher and Cryptography, and the Bible as His enigmatic collection of ciphers. All these we proved using both the Old and New Testament.

We stated the fact that the Biblical ciphers and prophecy could be hidden in the Bible’s record of history or prophetic utterances, which might not make much sense in the context of the time in which it was written, or even to the prophet delivering the utterance. Yet in just the right epoch of time God would unveil His hidden messages (Lk 24:25-27, 32, 1 Peter 1:10-12, 20-21, Eph 3:8-9), especially through His Spirit (1 Cor 2:10-14). We also saw that without receiving the decryption from God via His Spirit, the Words of the Bible would remain a mystery, even as the previously cited Passage shows (John 6:63-64, John 5:37-40, Lk 7:29-30).

In the prequel we also explored examples of Biblical ciphers, especially pertaining to Jesus Christ. A major example we looked into was God’s hidden cipher through the Biblical Festivals. This is a cipher that captures God's plan right from creation to the end of the ages. It speaks of CREATION, REDEMPTION, RESTORATION and RETRIBUTION. It vividly portrayed everything that Jesus Christ had to accomplish, right down to the finest details, thus marking and identifying Jesus as the Messiah, because no one else in all of history has, or could ever, fulfill these details accurately (Matt 5:17-18, Acts 2:22-24). Many have come and gone, but none has perfectly satisfied God's description of the Messiah as Jesus Christ has (Acts 5:35-39).

Just as God provided multiple ciphers and codes to help us identify Jesus Christ when He came in time, though sadly many missed the interpretation of His time and coming (John 1:9-13, Lk 19:41-44), so also has God provided sufficient amount of ciphers, both from the Old and New Testament, to help us identify the antichrist when he shows up in time, so that we would NOT be deceived, not by the main personality called THE antichrist — i.e. the man of lawlessness — (Matt 24:4-5, 11, 23-27, 2 Thess 2:3-4), nor his minions, i.e. antichrists, who are in the world today laying the groundwork for his arrival (1 John 2:18-25, 2 John 1:6-11). In this part, we'll be looking into the subject of THE antichrist and some of the Biblical ciphers that God has encoded concerning him.

That said let's begin.


WHO IS THE ANTICHRIST AND WHY WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY HIM

The title does a good job at identifying what the antichrist is all about. “Anti” meaning “opposed to something” or “against”, hence we can easily surmise that the antichrist is someone that is opposed to the Christ, i.e. Jesus.

Like we said in the introduction, there are many antichrists, past, present and future, who adamantly oppose the Messiah, Jesus (1 John 2:18-25, Phil 3:18-20). However, Scripture points to a specific antichrist who we are to watch out for. Because of the significant role that this personality would play, especially in his deceptive enterprise, that has the capacity to even trip up some of the elect (Dan 11:35-36, Matt 24:24-25 quoted below), God thought it necessary to encode the markers of this personality in Scripture, with the signals and warnings of his coming. If God took the time to encode His warnings, then we ought to pay attention and heed those warnings, because what MUST happen will happen; but we are warned so that we don't get swept away when it does happen.

Dan 11:35-36 NIV
[35] SOME OF THE WISE WILL STUMBLE, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless UNTIL the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.
[36] “The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful UNTIL the time of wrath is completed, FOR WHAT HAS BEEN DETERMINED MUST TAKE PLACE.
Matt 24:24-25 NIV
[24] For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform GREAT signs and wonders TO DECEIVE, IF POSSIBLE, EVEN THE ELECT. [25] SEE, I HAVE TOLD YOU AHEAD OF TIME.

So as unpalatable as it may sound, the antichrist is going to come, and we must be adequately prepared to stand our ground when he shows up.

UPDATE on the Post "Biblical Ciphers and Code - Part Two - The Antichrist and the End Times".

After putting up the post a couple of things have come to light that I'd like to share, proving that there is more behind-the-scenes groundwork that is inching us ever closer to the prophetic conditions that would unveil the antichrist and usher in the end.

In the post, we already discussed some key features about the mark of the beast. The fact that it is going to be made mandatory, and refusal to get it would mean death (Rev 13:15-16). And it is going to be required for trade (Rev 13:17).

With implantable NFC/RFID chips, the size of a grain of rice, it isn't hard to see the technical application for ID and trade via a mark or implant on the hand or forehead. And a step further in the bio-tech world is what I just found out about basically tattooing a chip's circuitry and antennas to the skin. Furthermore, ingesting a pill that would basically integrate, or map one's biology to identify and transmit their unique bio-markers. Almost as if fingerprint, retina, or face biometrics were not sufficient, now your internal biology would be used as your ID. Now pair this biotech with the NFC wallet and you'll have the makings of what the mark of the beast would look like in the future:

Another update worth noting is the UK’s push for "mandatory" digital ID. The reason they give is tied to illegal immigration and the economy. But totalitarian government control is not far off. And the government's online safety act is proof that what may start off as nice and helpful could easily be weaponized to go after those you don't agree with. Anyway, it is clearly going to be in the antichrist's playbook to “mandate” and keep tabs on everyone for absolute control. So this again is another groundwork paving the way for the fulfillment of prophecy, especially in light of the mark of the beast. In the future climate of famines, wars, and so much uncertainty, human rights would easily be waived and surrendered to government for totalitarian control, with the promise of normalizing the economy or something like that:

And lastly, one important marker in the end-time prophecies is the presence of a Temple in Jerusalem. This is ground zero for where the antichrist would be revealed, because he would desecrate the Temple and announce himself as a god in the Temple (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, 2 Thess 2:3–4). In the post, I cited the geopolitical challenges of building the Temple, but since God said it would happen, it MUST happen. Not long after the post, I came across an interview showing that the agenda of building the third Jewish Temple is at the forefront of political discourse between Israel and America.
