LIVE FROM GOD IN ORDER TO LIVE FOR GOD
“For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also his offspring.” - Acts 17:28 (KJV)
Beloved, it is good to have the desire to live for God. Many believers sincerely make this commitment, they promise to do everything within their power to please Him, to discipline themselves, to pray and fast, and to pay whatever price it takes. All of these are noble intentions. However, there is a divine order: before you can truly live for God, you must first learn to live from God.
To live from God means drawing life, strength, and direction from Him. It means resting in His finished work and allowing His Spirit to express Himself through you. When you live from God, you cease from struggling in your own strength. The life of God within you begins to flow out naturally, this is the life of grace.
When you try to live for God by your own ability, you will soon get weary and frustrated. That’s why some believers still struggle with sin, they are trying to overcome sin through self-effort instead of depending on the grace that has already set them free.
Think of a person drowning. Rescuers say that the hardest people to save are those who keep struggling. A drowning person must stop fighting and yield to the rescuer’s grip. Only then can he be lifted out of danger. That’s exactly what grace does. Stop struggling, let grace lift you.
Don’t live in constant fear of sin or with a sin-conscious mindset. Don’t keep asking, “Am I sinning? Am I doing enough?” Instead, rest in who you are in Christ. You are a child of God. Live with that consciousness, and grace will empower you to live victoriously.
The Bible declares, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” - Romans 6:14 (KJV)
So, live from God; draw your life, wisdom, and power from Him. Then you will find that living for Him is no longer a struggle, but a joyful overflow of His life within you.

*BE NOT WEARY IN WELL DOING*
"But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing." - 2 Thessalonians 3:13 (KJV)
Beloved, we live in a time when gratitude seems scarce and betrayal is common. Many believers have walked away from the church because of hurtful experiences with fellow Christians. Some have vowed never to help anyone again because their kindness was repaid with pain or deceit. Truly, nothing cuts deeper than the wound inflicted by a friend or a fellow believer. The devil knows this too well, that’s why when he wants to deal a heavy blow, he often uses someone close to you. He knows such wounds pierce the heart deeply and can easily drive you into offense or bitterness.
But child of God, don’t fall for the devil’s schemes.
Yes, it hurts, but be not weary in well doing. Don’t let someone’s failure in love make you abandon your nature in Christ. Don’t allow one painful experience to harden your heart. Like my wife, Bishop Peace Okonkwo, often says when such things happen: “Put it under the blood and move on.”
The blood of Jesus is so powerful that it doesn’t just cover sin, it completely wipes it away. So when you’re wounded, run to the cross. Don’t run from people, run to the cross where healing flows.
You may say, “But you don’t know how badly it hurts.” Let me ask you: How badly was Jesus hurt when He walked the path to Calvary, bruised, beaten, and rejected, all for your sins? Are you aware that if you were the only sinner on earth, He would still have gone to the cross just for you? That’s how deep His love runs.
If God could forgive you despite your failures, who are you not to forgive? You might say, “I’ll forgive, but I won’t forget.” But imagine if Jesus kept a record of your wrongs, could you stand? If your answer is no, then you have no right to hold on to another’s offense.
Yes, it hurts. Yes, it’s painful. But don’t let the hurt shut you out of God’s blessings. Don’t let bitterness rob you of joy. Keep loving. Keep serving. Keep doing good. For in due season, you will reap, if you faint not.

JUST OBEY GOD’S WORD
"And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams." - 1 Samuel 15:22 (KJV)
Beloved, many believers would rather fast and pray than obey. They forget that to obey is better than sacrifice. There are prayers that would never have been necessary if only we had obeyed God. Many answers we seek are already provided, waiting at the place of obedience.
Wouldn’t it be foolish to keep knocking on a door that is already open? The door is open, stop knocking and walk in! And the way to enter is through simple obedience.
Samuel told Saul: “Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, He hath also rejected thee from being king” (1 Samuel 15:23). Disobedience cost Saul the throne, but obedience preserves destiny.
When Jesus was entering Jerusalem, He sent two disciples ahead, saying: “You will find an ass tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them unto me. If any man asks you what you are doing, say, ‘The Lord hath need of them.’” (Matthew 21:2-3). They obeyed, and it happened exactly as He said.
Child of God, stop arguing. Stop calculating. Stop delaying. Just obey His Word. Obedience unlocks doors faster than sacrifice, prayer, or struggle ever could.

GOD IS FAITHFUL
"The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate." Psalm 34:22 (KJV)
Beloved, you serve a faithful God who watches over His Word to bring it to pass. If He has spoken, He will surely perform it. He is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should repent. Situations cannot change Him, and circumstances cannot alter His Word. Hear Him in Isaiah 55:11: “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (KJV). This is why you can rest assured that He is able to keep you, even in the midst of economic hardship and overwhelming complexities.
God did not save you to embarrass you. He did not redeem you to hand you over to the enemy. No! He has delivered you and broken the snare of the wicked. You have escaped like a bird, and your testimony will no longer be delayed or denied. The devil is a liar, your season of postponement and interruption is over.
Hear the Word of the Lord in Ezekiel 12:22-23: “Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth? Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease… The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.” (KJV). God is saying, no more delay! The vision concerning your life, your family, and your destiny will speak and not tarry.
You are stepping into a season of acceleration. Every word He has spoken over you will be fulfilled because God is faithful, and His Word never fails.

*GRACE, FRUITS AND WORSHIP*
”But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.” - 2 Peter 1:9 (KJV)
Beloved, the Bible does not say you will be forgiven. It declares that you have already been forgiven. This truth is the foundation for manifesting the fruits of righteousness. Many believers struggle with bearing fruit because they have either refused to accept that their sins are forgiven, forgotten that there is no condemnation in Christ, or allowed guilt to cloud their identity. And when you forget you’ve been purged, fruitfulness becomes stifled.
The psalmist reminds us: “But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.” (Psalm 130:4 KJV). Notice, it doesn’t say God is feared because He judges, but because He forgives. His forgiveness inspires reverential awe and worship, not terror. This fear speaks of deep worship, not dread.
Jesus Himself explained this in Matthew 4 when He quoted from Deuteronomy: “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” Worship, therefore, is the true expression of the fear of God.
When you truly grasp that God forgave you when you deserved judgment, condemnation, and punishment, your heart will overflow with worship. Forgiveness fuels love. Grace inspires devotion. Gratitude produces fruit. Worship becomes your lifestyle.
He lifted you out of the miry clay. His love reached into your mess and brought you out. When you realize that He loved you first, you will desire to love Him back, not out of compulsion, but out of gratitude. And as you love Him, you will naturally bear fruit, because His life is flowing through you.

*GRACE REMOVES THE STRUGGLE*
“Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.” - Romans 5:20 (KJV)
Beloved, when you learn to rest in the finished work of Christ, you will always overcome every challenge. Consider the account in Mark 4: Jesus was in the ship with His disciples during a violent storm. While they were struggling and bailing water in fear, He was calmly asleep in the inner part of the ship. When they finally cried out to Him, Jesus arose and silenced the storm with a word. The disciples struggled in their strength, but the One who was resting in the Word brought peace.
The truth is this: Jesus was resting because He trusted the Word that had already gone ahead. There is no storm that can violate God’s Word concerning you. The promises of God are more powerful than the challenges you face.
Scripture assures us that “where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.” (Romans 5:20 KJV). Some believe that when sin increases, grace departs. No, beloved! Grace does not run away from sin; grace overwhelms it. Grace swallows sin, and the blood of Jesus is still speaking on your behalf today.
So when you miss it, don’t condemn yourself or confess defeat. Instead, say: “Lord, I thank You for Your grace. I thank You for the blood of Jesus that is still cleansing me from every stain.” Refuse to call yourself a sinner; rather, declare: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I have victory through His finished work.”
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV).
