Many question the veracity of the Gospel and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, despite it being the best-documented ancient event of its time, with references outside the New Testament.

No one questions the teachings of Socrates (not even I).

Now let's look at these excerpts from the book "Apologetics" by Norman Geisler and Ron Brooks:

"Socrates left no writings, but Plato, his disciple, wrote
much about him, although those accounts may reflect both his own thoughts
and those of Socrates."

"A Roman historian who lived after Christ, from 55 to 120 AD.
Tacitus makes at least three references to Christ. In the first,
he explains how Nero blamed the Christians for the fire that destroyed
much of Rome."
