BIBLE TEXT : *1 Peter 5:5-9*

*Good Morning,

*PRAYERS*

1. *Father, I thank You for the youths around me. Thank You for making them strong, creative, and innovative. I am grateful for Your abundant grace towards them.*

2. *Father, please open the eyes of our youths' understanding. Cause them to know the hope of their calling and Your great power that is at work in their lives, in Jesus' name.*

3. *Lord, please keep the youths on the right path. Guide them with Your eyes and keep them from taking wrong turns and making wrong decisions, in Jesus' name.*

4. *Father, please teach the youths to watch their mouths and guard their hearts. May they not ensnare themselves with the thoughts of their hearts and the words of their mouths in any way, in Jesus' name.*

5. *Father, please teach the youths to honour You with their time, gifts, and positions. Help them see that every good and perfect gift they possess comes from You, in Jesus' name.*

6. *Lord, please teach the youths how to trust completely in You. Teach them not to lean on their own understanding but acknowledge You in all their ways, in Jesus' name.*

7. *Father, please bless the youths with good success. Hear their cries for help and meet them at the point of their needs, in Jesus' name.*

8. *Father, please open great doors of opportunities for the youths, and help them to be adequately prepared when they come, in Jesus' name.*

9. *Father, please let the mind that was in Christ Jesus be in all our youths and flood their paths with light, in Jesus' name.*

10. *Lord, please cause every backslidden Christian youth to hear the voice of the Good Shepherd again and return home. Draw them back to You with Your lovingkindness and mercy, in Jesus' name.*

11. *Father, please strengthen the youths so they can withstand the devil's temptations. May they not be entangled in the devil's web of addictions and immorality, in Jesus' name.*

TOPIC : *BE GOOD TO OTHERS*

“And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat, and they made him drink water.” 1 Samuel 30:11 KJV

When David and his men returned to Ziglag after an expedition, their wives, sons, daughters, and goods had been taken captive. David and his men lifted their voices and wept until they had no more power to weep. David inquired of the Lord, saying; Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them?
He received assurance from God and headed out with his men to recover their families and properties. Then God went ahead to plant a pointer, an Egyptian, on the way.

David's men found a young man, an Egyptian, in the field. He was almost dead; he had not eaten or drunk water for three days and three nights. David saw that the man needed help, and he reached out to him. David was a king in the making. He could have walked away arrogantly and refused to take notice of such a thing. But he took note of it, asked the young man what had happened, and beckoned to his men to feed the Egyptian.

When they had fed him and the man was revived, the Egyptian began to give unsolicited information, which led to the complete recovery of all that they had lost. Your helper will come. David and his men stormed the camp of the enemy and recovered everything they had lost. Be good to all.

I encourage you never to despise anyone alive, no matter how small they look. Don't come to church and turn your nose up because someone sitting by you came with a hole in his trousers. You cannot, by what you see happening around someone today, determine what he or she will become tomorrow.

Learn to be good to everyone. Be good to others, whether they are Christians or not. It does not cost anything to be good to others. Be like your Father who makes the rain fall on both the just and the unjust. Just decide to be good.
