MEMORISE : *Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy within them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations*
*Deuteronomy 7:9*
BIBLE TEXT : *1 Corinthians 6:18-20*
*Good Morning,
To understand what a covenant is, it is helpful first to understand what a contract is, as it is a more familiar concept. A contract is a written and signed agreement between two or more parties which outlines the expectations and responsibilities of all the parties involved in an interaction. The moment a contract is signed, all parties involved are bound by it, and typically, the contract will outline the consequences of what will happen if any party breaches the agreement. Such consequences may include penalties, damages, and other similar outcomes.
A covenant is also a contract, but one that is signed with body fluids, mostly blood. This means that when body fluids, especially blood, are involved in a contract, a covenant has been established. For example, in *Genesis 17:1-14,* God entered into a covenant with Abraham, and to sign that covenant, every male that was born into Abraham's household was to be circumcised, beginning with Abraham himself, even though he was almost 100 years old at the time. A covenant is no joking matter, primarily because the penalty for breaking it is usually death. This is why today's teaching is very important.
When a man and a woman come together to exchange body fluids, particularly through sex, they are entering into a covenant. They may not know it, but they have become bonded with each other. This is why it is important for a husband and a wife to only have sexual relationships with each other, because the devil usually takes advantage of extramarital sexual intercourse to pass on demons between those who indulge in it.
Many years ago, a boy was barking like a dog and was brought to me for deliverance. When I investigated the matter, I discovered that he had been sleeping with a dog in his house. In other words, he had entered into a covenant with that dog, and the devil had obviously attacked him through that. In the same vein, when a fellow sleeps with someone who is not his or her spouse, certain things will be passed from that fellow to them, and you can be sure that they are not good things because the act that was committed was contrary to God's will.
Beloved, do not neglect the Almighty God's instructions about keeping yourself sexually pure. Do not allow the devil access into your life by engaging in illicit sexual acts. I pray that the Lord will continually empower you to overcome all forms of sexual temptation, in Jesus' name.

Do you know that the Holy Bible may not be seen anywhere in the next 50years if nothing is done to save it? Do you know that Satan is using new technology to remove the Holy Bible from the Book shops, Book shelves and Churches and Christians and Men of God are helping him achieve that without their knowing?
When Ministers of God preach from their laptops, iPads and phones instead of from the Bible they are inadvertently encouraging their members to come to
the Church Services with their phones instead of their Bibles.
Have you ever wondered what will happen to an lmam who preaches in the mosque from the laptop instead of from Quran? Have you ever wondered what will happen to a Moslem in the mosque fiddling with his phone looking for Quranic verses while the lmam is preaching? Though they have highly educated people amongst them who could take advantage of the new technology.
*While other religious group are working hard to preserve their religious books, Christians are working hard to remove the Holy Bible from hard copy to soft copy for their convenience.*
If Christians continue with this attitude, less Bibles will be sold and gradually the publishers will stop Bible production. Technology has resulted in phasing out a lot of things today. Battery powered torches are gradually being phased out because of rechargeable torches. Please don't allow the Holy Bible to suffer the same fate. There are still books in Heaven Rev. 20:12.
Let us go to our Church Services and Fellowships with our Bible even if it's
archaic and burdensome. Let us Continue to preach from it for the sake of Christ and for the preservation of the Holy Bible.
If going to Church Services with the Bible is a burden, remember Jesus carried a bigger burden for you. You can use your iPads and phones for your private/personal Bible study for
your convenience but please save the Holy Bible from going into extinction by using the HOLY BIBLE (hard copy) to Church Services and Fellowships. God will bless you.

IN CHRIST, YOU HAVE PEACE
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” - John 16:33 KJV
Beloved, as Jesus prepared to go to the Cross, He assured His disciples that in Him, they would have peace. The word ‘peace’ comes from the Hebrew word ‘Shalom,’ which signifies completeness, nothing broken, nothing missing. In Him, we have that perfect peace! Jesus is free from sickness, poverty, and sin; therefore, you too are free from them.
The world is full of tribulation, yet in Christ, you have peace. So, do not fear or be anxious. Be of good cheer, for Jesus has already taken care of it all. He has stripped the world of its power to harm you. The enemy may bring challenges against your life, but Jesus lifts you up and protects you.
The Bible declares in 1 John 5:4: “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” As a child of God, you are a world overcomer. The systems and struggles of the world are already under your feet. Do not allow the world to intimidate or discourage you. In Christ, you are above every worldly system because you are born of God.
The enemy cannot trip you. Sin cannot dominate your life because you know who you are. You cannot fail, and you cannot be overtaken by sickness, for the seed of God resides in you. The seed of God and sin cannot coexist. The seed of God and failure cannot coexist. The seed of God and sickness cannot coexist.
You carry the seed of God in you. The evil one cannot touch you. In all things, you are more than a conqueror. In Him, you have peace. You will not die; you will live and prosper in the fullness of His victory.

NOTHING IS MORE VALUABLE THAN GOD
“And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.” - Mark 14:3 KJV
The woman in this scripture passage demonstrated that Jesus was more valuable to her than the very expensive ointment.
Let us observe how some people react when they see you go all out for Christ. “And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made? For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her. And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me. For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always. She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.” - Mark 14:4-8 KJV
Jesus was instructing them to leave her alone. She had seen what they did not see. She looked beyond the physical and recognized Jesus as her Saviour, the One who would pay the price for her redemption. When you truly see the Lord, you will pour out your heart and resources without hesitation.
Abraham also exemplified this attitude. The book of Genesis 22:1-3 states: “And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham, and he said, Behold, here I am. And He said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, …and went unto the place which God had told him.” - KJV
Abraham was ready to sacrifice his only child because nothing was more valuable to him than God Himself.

DON’T PLAY GAMES WITH GOD
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” - Isaiah 1:19 KJV
Don't play games with God. You must learn to trust Him. You do not lose by trusting Him. He has already blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. The least you can do is respond through your actions. That is all! You do not do anything to make Him act; it is already done, with or without you.
God can make you a multi-millionaire overnight. It takes Him nothing to get you there. Just one idea, and you will become the reigning sensation of the moment. No wonder Paul counted everything as dung for the excellency of the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He said: “that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” - Philippians 3:10 KJV
What Apostle Paul is saying is, “I am pursuing Him. He is my pursuit in life, not money, talent, job, or career, but Jesus.” He pursued Him to understand why He had apprehended him. There is a reason God picked him out from the multitude, washed him, and cleansed him so that he could become a useful instrument in His hand.
Many churches encourage singing and declaring that you are taking back what the devil stole from you. However, oftentimes, the devil did not steal anything; we gave it to him. Many times, we receive instructions in church but walk away without obeying them. The issue is, what do we do with these instructions?
When we do nothing, we hand over to the devil what truly belongs to us, and he has no choice but to take it. The devil will be laughing and saying, “These people are accusing me of what I did not do.” You handed it over. Yes, he is a deceiver, but he cannot take from you what you did not hand over to him. My prayer for you is that you will not give the devil a chance. You will not fall into his schemes.

STOP DOING THE WORK OF A POLICEMAN
“Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.” - Luke 7:39 KJV
One of the Pharisees, named Simon, invited Jesus to his house to eat, and Jesus accepted. While they were at the table, a woman from the city, known to be a sinner, came with an alabaster box of ointment to anoint Jesus. When Simon observed this, he thought within himself that if Jesus were truly a prophet, He would have known the kind of woman who was touching Him, for she was a sinner.
This is the attitude many of us display even today. We see others going all out for Christ, and instead of celebrating their devotion, we judge them in our hearts. “Your devotion is too much. You are showing off,” we say silently.
But reflect: if we do not serve God wholeheartedly, who will? If we do not go all out for Jesus, then for whom should we? We must stop this policing of others’ hearts in the Church. Leave the Holy Spirit to do His work. Remember, you were not the person you are now when you first came to church. You sat under the washing of the Word, and it gradually transformed you, refining your character and your heart. And now you presume to judge someone else? Leave them alone.
Instead, help disciple them. Show them that, despite how they appear now, there is a better tomorrow. That is the proper way to respond, not by saying, “Go and clean yourself; you are not good enough.” It is not your responsibility to judge. Your judgmental spirit drives people away from the Church.
Many hypocrites in the Church are quick to point out others’ faults, saying, “I am not like you. I am better than you.” Who gave you the authority to compare yourself with others? Comparison is arrogance. We are called to love, disciple, and build others up, not to belittle them.

*WHEN YOU KNOW JESUS, YOU WILL GIVE MORE*
“Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.” - Luke 7:45-46 KJV
When you encounter Jesus, no one needs to instruct you to love abundantly. This woman, whose sins were many, had them all forgiven, and in response, she gave herself wholeheartedly. Many people fail to recognize the immeasurable value of what God has done in their lives, and as a result, they hold back in their giving. When it is time for offering, they give the smallest denomination, as if their resources could ever repay what Christ has done.
When you fall into this category, your money becomes your God, your time becomes your God, your children become your God, your education becomes your God, and even your talents become your God. Yet, once you truly understand the costly price Jesus paid for you, everything else pales in comparison. Nothing you offer in response to His love could ever match the value of His sacrifice.
The Bible affirms this in Luke 8:1-3: “And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God; and the twelve were with him. And certain women, who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils. And Joanna, the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance” (KJV).
These women understood the magnitude of what Jesus had done for them. Mary Magdalene had been possessed by demons until she encountered Christ, and once delivered, she knew that the least she could do was to serve Him faithfully. It is no coincidence that she was the first at the tomb of Jesus after His resurrection. When you truly see Him, everything else falls into place, and struggles lose their grip on you.
Romans 8:32 reminds us: “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”
Understanding this, Paul resolved to know nothing except Christ and Him crucified. In essence, he was saying: “What motivates my life and my actions is the awareness and remembrance of what He accomplished for me on the cross.” When you grasp this truth, your response naturally becomes one of total devotion and sacrificial love.

WHAT ARE YOU CONTRIBUTING TO THE KINGDOM?
“As every man hath received gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” - 1 Peter 4:10 KJV
The Samaritan woman, often labeled a sinner in John chapter 4, demonstrated the power of using what you have, even before being formally equipped. After encountering Jesus, she went out alone to share the gospel. The Lord never instructed her to go to Samaria, nor did He wait for her to attend Bible school or learn Hebrew and Greek. She simply acted with what she knew: “Come and see the man.” She returned to her city and boldly proclaimed the message, giving her all. When you truly encounter Jesus, holding back is no longer an option.
Similarly, the young boy in John 6:9 willingly offered his five loaves and two fish. He did not hesitate or worry about his own needs, trusting that Jesus could multiply what he had. He gave his lunch, and it became more than enough, twelve baskets were left over. His faith demonstrated that nothing placed in Jesus’ hands is ever lost.
Consider the story of the man from Gadara in Luke 8:26-39. He lived among the tombs, destroying himself piece by piece, untamed and tormented. Yet, upon meeting Jesus, his mind was restored, and he desired to follow Him. But Jesus commanded, “Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee.” The man obeyed and went throughout the city testifying to the mighty works of Jesus in his life. His story reminds us that our encounters with God are meant to produce action and testimony.
Many believers today sit passively in churches, contributing nothing to the advancement of the Kingdom. They proudly declare their denominational affiliation but fail to impact the world with the message of God’s grace. As a recipient and beneficiary of God’s manifold grace, what is your input? How are you using your talents, connections, and resources to expand His Kingdom?
Every gift you have is a tool to minister, to bless, and to demonstrate the power of God’s grace to others.

WHAT ARE YOU CONTRIBUTING TO THE KINGDOM? “As every man hath received gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” - 1 Peter 4:10 KJV The Samaritan woman, often labeled a sinner in John chapter 4, demonstrated the power of using what you have, even before being formally equipped. ANYONE WITHOUT CHRIST IS DEAD
“And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.” - Ephesians 2:1-2 KJV
To be quickened means to be made alive or brought to life through the grace of God. It signifies that those who were spiritually dead due to sin have been given new life in Christ. They have been revived, restored, and empowered to walk in the life God intended.
An unbeliever remains dead in spirit. Without Christ, a person is not truly alive. But those who are in Christ have received new life through the quickening of the Holy Spirit. They are no longer subject to the control of sin or the prince of the power of the air.
Ephesians 2:3 reminds us, “Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lust of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others” (KJV). Verses 11 and 12 further explain, “Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called the Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands. That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world” (KJV).
These scriptures reveal our state before receiving Christ. Anyone who is not born again shares this same condition. Without Jesus, a person has no hope and no access to God in this world. That is why the gospel is preached to invite unbelievers to receive Christ into their hearts. It is not about outward appearances or religious performance; it is about who dwells within.
An unbeliever, being without hope and separated from God, is naturally subject to the influence of the devil. The enemy has authority over their life until they receive new life in Christ. Through salvation, however, the believer is liberated, made alive, and empowered to walk in victory.

“He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. And he must needs go through Samaria.” - John 4:3-4 KJV
Jesus intentionally went through Samaria. There were other routes He could have taken, shorter, easier paths from Galilee to His destination, but it was necessary for Him to pass through Samaria, all because of one woman. Sometimes, God moves toward your direction on purpose because you are always on His mind.
Having seen all that you have endured, the challenges, the tears, and the trials, you can rest in the assurance that He comes to settle you. This is one of the most beautiful truths about Jesus. From the smallest detail to the greatest circumstance, nothing escapes His notice.
It is wrong for you to discount your own significance. There is no person about whom He is unaware. He knows the number of hairs on your head, and you are far more valuable to Him than the sparrows. Even when you feel alone or abandoned, understanding that God honours His promises above His name will remind you that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
He does not abandon His sheep, and He does not turn His back on His own. He is always present, working on your behalf. God will always come through for you.
If God allows you to face difficult or uncomfortable situations, it is not a sign of His absence. Rather, it is because He knows you are able to endure and emerge stronger and better. He is assuring you today: “Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee” (Isaiah 43:1-2 KJV).
Therefore, do not cast away your confidence in Christ. Trust in Him, for your faithfulness will yield a great reward.

“Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.” - John 4:9 KJV
Aren’t you grateful that our Lord Jesus is not bound by tradition? Aren’t you grateful that He is not limited by gender or social norms? Jesus does not reject people simply because others have rejected them. He moves freely among every nation, tribe, and tongue.
In Christ, there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor male nor female, for all are one in Him. Grace enables you to worship God freely, to rejoice without inhibition, and to experience true freedom in His presence.
You are not confined by man-made rules or traditions; you are free to be yourself because Jesus is with you.
The woman of Samaria had been battered, abused, and mistreated by others, yet Jesus came to associate with her. That is why He is called the Friend of sinners. Unlike some modern churches that discriminate, Jesus embraced her fully. Even believers today sometimes fail to extend grace, forgetting that our posture should be one of inclusivity.
Consider how some of us respond when someone appears in a church setting dressed in a way we disapprove. We might shift seats or silently judge, thinking, “This person cannot be saved.”
Yet Jesus, in His encounter with the Samaritan woman, defied such prejudices. He freely engaged her, offering living water without hesitation.
Reflect on the people you may have passed by without speaking to, perhaps judging them by appearance or circumstance. Jesus teaches us a better way. Even in our relationships as Christians, we are called to extend grace. Jesus sat comfortably with the woman of Samaria because He knew He had something of eternal value to give her. We, too, should approach others with the same heart of grace and love.TOPIC : JESUS DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE “Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.” - John 4:9 KJV Aren’t you grateful that our Lord Jesus is not bound by tradition? Every believer needs a father, a mentor, or a spiritual guide to help them navigate life. Potential alone is not enough; you need someone to speak into your life, to guide and reveal what is already within you.
As children of God, the well of blessings and promises lies deep within us, but we often need help to draw from it. That is why mentors, spiritual fathers, and the fivefold ministry are essential; they help you access the fullness of God’s provision.
You have everything you need to succeed already inside you, yet it must be drawn out and made manifest. The Apostle Paul prayed for the church to have understanding, to see clearly what God had placed in their hearts. Reading the Bible is one thing; truly knowing and understanding it is another. Sometimes it takes someone to help you see what you cannot discern on your own.
The widow came to Elisha because creditors were threatening to take her two children. Her husband was dead, leaving her in debt. When Elisha asked, “What do you have in your house?” she replied, “I have nothing except a pot of oil.” Her understanding was limited, yet the prophet saw what she could not: that the very thing she had, though small, was enough.
Many believers overlook or despise the very resource God has given them, not realizing it is the key to their breakthrough. - TOPIC : THE WORD WORKS WONDERS
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” - Isaiah 55:11 KJV
It grieves me when people sit in a church full of the Word and fail to believe, expecting only the spectacular. Meanwhile, the supernatural is continually at work. The Bible reminds us in Isaiah 55:8, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts” (KJV).
The scripture further declares, “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater” (Isaiah 55:10 KJV). God’s Word never returns void. It always accomplishes the purpose for which it was sent. Your responsibility is to position yourself as a receptive vessel for the Word, to claim it as yours.
Men of God carry diverse anointings. No one person carries everything. Do not presume familiarity with a man of God; when he stands behind the sacred desk, he becomes an oracle of God, a vessel through whom the divine speaks.
I urge you to attend your local assembly with an open heart. Every word spoken: whether of healing, deliverance, victory, breakthrough, open doors, peace in the home, prosperity, security, or the fruit of the womb, will produce results after its kind. Words can bring emotional and mental healing, restore homes, launch you into a new dimension of God’s glory, accelerate your steps, reposition you, rewrite your history, and give you a fresh destiny.
These blessings flow through the preaching of the Word, prayers, music, and other elements of the service.

*Psalm 72:12*
BIBLE TEXT : *Mark 10:46-52*
God does not want anyone to be under satan's yoke. This is why Jesus said, *_"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"_* *(Matthew 11:28).* God is more than able to break the enemy's yoke over anyone *(Isaiah 10:27),* but such a person must first admit that he or she needs to be delivered.
Years ago, a man brought his wife to me and said, "Daddy, help me. My wife is a witch." I asked the woman if it was true, and she denied it. I then told her that if she was indeed a witch, as her husband claimed, we could pray with her, and she would be delivered. However, she insisted that she wasn't a witch because she wasn't willing to be delivered. I then prayed, "If you're not a witch, you will continue to prosper; however, if you are, I bind whatever demon is operating in you." Three months later, she was brought back to me with her body so swollen, as she had doubled in size! Apparently, the demon that I bound inside her and had been feeding on her and defecating in her.
The first step for someone who is under the devil's yoke to become free is for the fellow to admit that there is a burden that he or she needs to be freed from. Until the fellow makes such an admission, he or she cannot be free. Likewise, if the person is okay with where he or she is and is satisfied with sickness, loneliness, barrenness, sorrow, or pain, he or she will remain under the burden of satan.
Sometime ago, a man was coughing badly, and he was brought to me for prayers. In the past, I would have gone ahead and prayed for him without asking questions, but from experience, I had learnt to ask questions. Therefore, I asked him, "Sir, how can I help you?" Even though it was clear that he was sick, I knew that I needed to ask him what he really wanted, just as Jesus asked Bartimaeus what he wanted in today's Bible reading. To my surprise, the man said, "I want you to pray that the cough leaves slowly."
Beloved, are you under satan's yoke in any area of your life? Admit that you need God's help and cry to Him to break it off immediately and completely. He will come to your aid speedily and deliver you, in the mighty name of Jesus.

When someone who is under the burden of the yoke of satan cries out to God genuinely for help, God steps in and delivers such a fellow. However, after receiving the deliverance, there are certain things the person must do and continue to do so that the 'taskmaster' (the devil) will not lay a heavier burden on him or her. For example, God heard the cry of the Israelites when the Egyptians enslaved them, and He came to their rescue *(Exodus 3:7-9),* but there were steps they had to take to ensure that they were not re-enslaved by their Egyptian taskmasters.
*Matthew 12:43-45* tells us that if a person becomes free from a burden of demonic possession and remains empty, the burden will return in a worse form because the evil spirit that left the person will return with seven other spirits that are more wicked than itself, so that the latter end of the person will be worse than the first. I pray that in any area the enemy wants your latter end to be worse than your beginning, the Almighty God will frustrate his plans, in Jesus' name.
When a fellow has been freed from a burden, the first thing that he or she must do to keep the enemy away and ensure that the burden that has been lifted does not return is to praise God continually. *Acts 3:1-8* tells the story of a lame man who lay by the Beautiful Gate of the temple. When God visited him and took away his burden of stagnation, poverty, and shame, he began to walk, leap, and praise God without caring about anyone who was watching him. This man was born lame, and before his healing, he was already above 40 years old *(Acts 4:22).* This means that he was being carried from one point to another for over 40 years and must have been unable to enter the temple unaided. He might have been praying silently, "God, I wish I had legs so I could enter the temple and dance and praise You as You deserve." This must have been why he leapt and praised God with so much joy when he received his deliverance.
Beloved, has God been good to you? Has He taken away your burdens? Praise Him abundantly, everywhere, and at all times. As we see in today's Bible reading, fill your mouth with high praises to God. Dance and use musical instruments to praise Him, for He alone is worthy of your praise.

*Good Morning,
*Jeremiah 32:19* tells us that the Almighty God is mighty in works. God loves doing mighty works. Unfortunately, however, in today's Bible reading, Jesus could not do mighty works in His hometown because of the people's unbelief. Unbelief or doubt will hinder a fellow from experiencing God's mighty works in his or her life. When they are absent, however, the fellow's life will reflect the mighty works of the Almighty God.
God delights in doing mighty works, and He seeks sons and daughters who will partner with Him to do them. He is on the lookout for men and women who will do greater works than the Lord Jesus Christ did while He was on earth. There is, however, the need to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ if you want to be eligible to do greater works *(John 14:12).*
Beloved, you don't need to attend a seminary or attain a particular position to do mighty works; all that is required is your faith. When it was almost time for Jesus to ascend into heaven, He commissioned His disciples to preach the gospel all over the world and told them about the mighty signs that would follow them. He told them that they had the power to cast out devils, speak with new tongues, take up serpents, and lay hands on the sick *(Mark 16:15-18).* The only thing that qualified them to do all these was for them to believe in Him.
Child of God, God wants to do mighty works through you. He wants to use you as His battle axe to destroy the works of darkness *(Jeremiah 51:20),* but you must believe in Him for this to happen. It is true that He is sovereign and can do whatever He pleases, but He wants you to have faith in Him so all things can be possible for you *(Mark 9:23).* Have you allowed unbelief to cheat you out of the mighty works that God wants to do in you and through you? If you have, ask for His mercy today. Fill your heart with His word because hearing God's word continually will grow your faith. *Romans 10:17* says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. You must also flee from anything that will dampen your faith.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever *(Hebrews 13:8),* and the marvellous things He has done for others and through others, He can do for you and through you. Only believe!
Get up and work.

MEMORISE : *Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun.*
*Ecclesiastes 9:9*
BIBLE TEXT : *Proverbs 5:15-19*
*Good Morning,
I am always concerned when I see married couples who don't spend quality time together. Many of such couples spend end the whole day away from each other at work and only come home to sleep at night, then they are off again in the morning. Even on weekends, they either go to work again or attend other engagements without their spouses. This ought not to be so because when you truly love someone, you will always find a way to spend quality time with him or her, and the more time you spend together, the more your love will blossom.
Years ago, a woman who was sick confessed to me that she actually didn't want to be healed because when she was hale and hearty, her husband wasn't spending quality time with her. However, now that she was sick, he always returned home immediately after work. Husbands and wives should not abandon their spouses because of work or any other commitment. They must spend quality time with them to build strong bonds.
Married couples must also pray together. It is unfortunate that some married couples hardly ever pray together. They may attend prayer meetings, where they spend hours praying with others, but when they return home, they are often too tired to pray together. One way that married couples can maintain strong, loving relationships with one another is by praying together regularly. Prayer strengthens marriage bonds and solidifies the love between a man and his wife.
My wife and I have been married for 59 years, and we regularly create time to laugh and have fun together. We are lovers, not just a man and a woman who are living together under one roof. Husbands and wives should play with one another. They shouldn't be so serious that they cannot spend time laughing with their spouses or making them laugh. When laughter is always heard in a home, there will be fewer reasons for friction. Husbands and wives must be intentional about creating time for fun activities with one another that will lighten the atmosphere in their homes and fill it with joy.
Lastly, married people should take time to shower their spouses with compliments. They must not take them for granted; instead, they should seek ways to express how special they are and thank them for everything they do. I pray that God will strengthen the relationships between all men and women who are joined in holy matrimony, in Jesus' name.
