There was no worship industry in the beginning. Now, we want to be famous for leading worship. But when you seek fame while leading worship, you're no longer worshipping God—you’re worshipping worship itself, and deep down, desiring to be worshipped. True worship kills the desire to be worshipped. Wanting to be a worship celebrity is its own form of worship—when the desire for recognition replaces the desire for God's presence. Self-denial and self-exaltation cannot coexist. The foundation of true worship is the denial of self. It’s either all about God, or all about you. Not both. #awakenthesound2025 #Bible #Devotion
