- How to pray According to Jesus Teaching and make God Respond.
How to Faithfully Pray to God.
There's a way to pray which pleases God. This is something Jesus taught his disciples. I'll share the verses below, but it looks like common sense.
According to the teachings of Jesus, God doesn't like someone who is babbling. Someone who is just saying words for the sake of it. Someone who is uttering so many words only to be heard and praised by neighbours,fellow church members etc..
This is a very common scenario in our residences. We all know the lady who knows how to pray in our community.
But what does God want?
God likes all prayers directed to Him only, sincerely and in secret. In fact you need to go into your room and pray.
For He knows your demands even before you pray to Him.
Here is what the scriptures say;
Matthew 6:7-8 NIV
[7] And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. [8] Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
