Today's Fresh Manna
Be A KingMaker if Not A King!
(The Book of Esther)
****
How often we wish we were Royals commanding honor and glory! How may girls might have wished that they had such a boyfriend like Prince William when they watched his wedding in London! After all, Kate was like any other girl but found her way into the Palace.

Though there were many beautiful virgins in the beauty contest held by King to choose a Queen. But Esther was chosen. She was, no doubt, pleasing to the King more than all, but there was God working behind the scenes to put Esther in the palace for a particular purpose and for such a time. And the other important person behind her success was her uncle Mordecai. His care for her and motivation and encouragement, perhaps, enabled her to take up such a challenge, being an orphan and foreign girl there.
Well, we may not be so fortunate like Esther, but we can all be like Mordecai, the Kingmaker!

Here are the lessons we learn from Mordecai's life, how to be a kingmaker:
Mordecai's life was filled with challenges that he turned into opportunities. Mordecai was of man of deep convictions and fearless confidence. He was a man of integrity with cautious courage and foresight.

Mordecai was willing to be God's servant wherever he was.
In Mordecai's life, God blended both character and circumstances to accomplish great things. He has not changed the way He works. God is using the situations you face each day to weave a pattern of godliness into your character. Pause and ask God to help you respond appropriately to the situations you find yourself in today.

* The opportunities we have are more important than the ones we wish we had
* We can trust God to weave together the events of life for our best, even though we may not be able to see the overall pattern (Romans 8:28-29).
* The rewards for doing right are sometimes delayed, but they are guaranteed by God Himself.

Be challenged!
