THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SUNDAY JUNE 1, 2025 ABANDONED, BUT SECURE A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close." Psalm 27:10 NLT. What an abounding declaration of faith in the All-powerful God who is able to protect and shield those who put their trust in Him. The implication of our foundational Scripture is among others that when everyone in your life has abandoned you, God is still on your side. Whether they be your parents, brothers, sisters, or your closest friends. When your spouse or your whole family and relatives abandons you, even when your company terminates your appointment, you can rest assured that you are secure in and with God. God is that Friend who sticks to you closer than any biological brother. The world may write you off, but God, your Father is still looking for you. When life knocks you down, He will elevate you to a place of all-encompassing blessing. God, the Almighty Father has your name written on the palms of His hand, as such, you are continually before Him, and He has good plans for you, to give you a hope and a future. (Isaiah 49:16; Jeremiah 29:11). Don't forget this Biblical truth, you may be abandoned by all, but you're secure in Him. Take advantage of this and have it reset your mindset to His glory.
