THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SATURDAY JUNE 7, 2025 GOD'S PROTECTIVE PRESENCE A WORD FROM THE WORD: "... I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will be its glory within." Zechariah 2:5 NIV. Our anchor Scripture comes from among the revelations the LORD God made available to Zechariah, the prophet in the vision of the night (1:8). God's promise to His people, Israel in the Scripture, and to us, who are the children of God is to be a wall of fire around us with His Presence, to protect us as we make our journey through life. It enriches the heart to know that we are not standing alone, the Awesomely Awesome God, who is the Omnipotent and ever present God is with us, as such, we should not be afraid. God is still the pillar of the cloud by the day, and the pillar of fire by the night to His children, not just for His divine presence and protection, but also to ensure in His love and mercy that we have the right atmospheric conditions for the days and nights of our life. It's not God's style to leave His own defenceless. Did you see how He surrounded His servant, Elisha, the prophet with innumerable herd of horses and chariots of fire. Just realise and recognise that your Father is very much concerned about your well-being, and is ever ready to shield you from dangers and harms, including the fiery darts of your enemies. You have God's protection and presence. Rejoice! PRAYER BULLETS: Father LORD, I thank You for the privilege of being within Your divine wall of protection. Engrace me to remain therein, in the name of Your Son, my LORD Jesus.
