THE PILGRIMS GUIDE TUESDAY JUNE 1O, 2025 LIVING BY THE POWER OF GOD'S SPIRIT A WORD FROM THE WORD: "... Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another,.." Galatians 5:16-17 NKJV. In the matters of spiritual growth, development and sustainability, the topic of this devotional cannot be easily done away with. You see, the differences between the Spirit and the flesh cannot be reconciled ever. Their values, principles and vision are diametrically opposed. The Spirit and the flesh, just like water and oil do not get along well. They're like two distinct nations with different constitutions and bye laws; they are "contrary to one another". The works of the flesh and the fruits of the Spirit are opposed to each other also (vv 19-23). You cannot live and conduct life in the flesh and then expect to bear the fruit(s) of the Spirit. It is like going to sleep on the laps of Delilah and hoping to wake on the bosom of Abraham. You have a choice to make between walking in the Spirit and fulfilling the works of the flesh. Choose life (in the Spirit), that you may live by the power of God's Spirit. PRAYER BULLETS: LORD Jesus, thank You for the salvation of my soul.
