THE PILGRIMS GUIDE THURSDAY JUNE 19, 2025 SIGHT OR BLINDNESS A WORD FROM THE WORD: "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light." Ephesians 5:8 NKJV. Are your spiritual eyes open to God's truth or rather covered by darkness? If truly you have been born again, you were darkness before now and living in sin and immorality but now you are a Christian you are no more darkness but light and you ought to live in the light and show it to people. The LORD Jesus Christ is light and all who believe in Him are children of light while Satan is darkness and all his followers in his evil and wicked works are children of darkness. All the children of the light are to produce the fruit of the Spirit in all goodness, righteousness and Truth and to find out what is acceptable to the LORD Jesus. They should not be found in fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. This means that they should not be in the company of thieves, fornicators, drug addicts, drunkards, cultists and other evil associations. If you are still asleep as a Christian, then you must wake up and let the light of Christ shine through you and make you a carrier of the message of the Gospel to your peers, friends and neighbours to drive away darkness in their lives. PRAYER BULLETS: Father LORD, thank You for bringing me into the light of Your Son, the LORD Jesus, use me to bring out those in darkness through the preaching of the Gospel and living as light.
