A LIFE OF CONTENTMENT

A WORD FROM THE WORD:

"Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth." 1 Timothy 6:6 NLT.

From the context of our foundational Scripture, the human author, Paul the apostle, by the Holy Spirit's inspiration made it abundantly clear that one will never be content if they focus on what they don’t have or whom they are not. You can only learn how to live a life of contentment from the Word of God. It helps you to see where God has positioned you, and where He is taking you to, and be pleased with it.

It takes a Spirit-filled life to be contented with where God has positioned you, this is due to the truthful fact that you have the world of discontentment we live in to contend with; but rest assured that you will be victorious in the end as long as you put your faith in God and align with the demands of Heaven upon your life.
It's just stating the obvious that the only place you can find true contentment is in the LORD Jesus. There is contentment in Him, because He is the good God, and all His ways are perfect and just.

Endeavour to maintain a life of gratitude for God’s provision to you and stop complaining about what God has not given you yet, and strive to know Him more and the abundant blessings He has already gifted you with. And as you are waiting for His next move, do not give in to worry, but continue to ask Him for your needs, and most importantly, cultivate an attitude of gratitude.

Know this and know peace, God is able to accomplish all that concerns you today and always, just put your trust in Him .

PRAYER BULLETS:

Father LORD, I thank You, that all my needs are met, Your love and grace are more than enough for me.

FURTHER READING:

1 Timothy 6:6- 12; Philippians 4:11-13; John 14:27.
