THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SATURDAY JUNE 21, 2025 YOUR BODY IS GOD'S TEMPLE A WORD FROM THE WORD: "*Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?"* 1 Corinthians 3:16 NKJV. From our anchor Scripture, we read Paul, the apostle as he writes by the unction of the Holy Spirit, making it abundantly clear that as a believer in the LORD Jesus, your body is the Temple of God. You see, in proper spiritual perspective, God does not dwell in a house built with hand but in the heart of those who worship Him in Spirit and Truth. No matter how beautiful your body is, or how much you take care of it, if God does not live in it, you are at best nothing but an empty shell. God does not live in an unholy Temple and you must endeavour to keep your body which is the Temple of the Holy Spirit holy because God is Holy and righteous. Just for the purpose of a reminder; at what point are you presently in building your body as a Temple for God to live in? You must endeavour to build it according to the pattern shown to you in God's Word. And this can only be possible and sustainable when you surrender your life completely to the LORD Jesus Christ, and have the Holy Spirit indwelling you and ensuring that your body is separated from sin and filthy things of the evil world system. PRAYER BULLETS: LORD Jesus, please help me to build my body, Your Temple, and keep it holy for the dwelling of God's Spirit.
