GOSHEN WORD FAMILY TABERNACLE

DAILY MOMENT WITH JESUS CHRIST

DATE
Monday: 23 June,2025

TOPIC:
YOUR CELEBRATION HAS NO LIMIT

BIBLE READING:
JOHN 2:1-11
1. On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,
2.and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
3. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”
4. “Woman, why do you involve me” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
5.His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
6. Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
7.Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
8. Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”They did so,
9.and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
10. and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
11. What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

STUDY VERSE:
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:4

MEDITATION:
In the sacred union of marriage, there lies a profound opportunity for joy and celebration. As we reflect on the account of the Wedding at Cana in John 2:1-11, we are reminded of the pivotal role Christ played in blessing and glorifying the institution of marriage. Just as the hosts of the wedding invited Jesus to partake in their joyous occasion, so too should we welcome His presence into our marriages, ensuring that He remains at the center of our union.

The story at Cana unveils the miraculous power of Christ's intervention. Despite the initial shortage of wine, Jesus performed a divine miracle, transforming water into the best wine. This miraculous act serves as a testament to His ability to turn scarcity into abundance, despair into hope, and weakness into strength. Likewise, in our marital journey, we may encounter seasons of lack, challenges, or struggles. However, by inviting Jesus into our midst and trusting in His providence, we can rest assured that He will transform our circumstances beyond measure.

Also, the Wedding at Cana highlights the importance of faith and obedience. The servants, upon receiving Jesus' instructions, acted in faith and witnessed the manifestation of His glory. Similarly, in our lives as Christians, dedicated to serving God faithfully, we may encounter moments of uncertainty or doubt. Yet, it is through unwavering faith and obedience that we can experience the fullness of God's blessings and provision. When you bring Jesus into your relationship, you are sure that He will turn things around for the better.

Is the 'wine' in your marriage or relationship failing What steps are you taking to stop the drift?

REQUEST:
Loving God, restore joy and celebration in my marriage and relationships.
