THE PILGRIMS GUIDE THURSDAY JULY 3, 2025 IT'S ALL ABOUT THE LORD JESUS A WORD FROM THE WORD: "And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, 'If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.'" Mark 8:34 ESV This is a thoroughgoing call from our LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and as His faithful disciples, we are to respond to, and live out this radical call, no matter how difficult it might seem. If you are among the believers struggling with rejection and similar things from the society as a result of your faith in Christ Jesus, then you must endeavour to align your life with what you see revealed in the Word of God as the truth, and not what you feel, or see happening around, about and to you. This is a battle for your allegiance and faith, it's not about you, but about who you repose your faith in, even the LORD Jesus. Jettison your self-interest, and key in to the LORD's demands upon your life. PRAYER BULLETS: LORD Jesus, I want to follow You duly all my days. Help me by Your Spirit to put away all hindrances and distractions, and to rise above the natural man and self-life.
