Hi good morning!! How are you doing??
We all go through bad phases in our lives. There are tough situations. These could range from psychological, job related, situational, financial, social, cultural, faith-based, environmental, relationship, family-based, physiological, spiritual or anything beyond this list. Many times we lose hope, not only on the situation and those who are around, but it may extend to even God. People may put us down, or accuse, or abuse, or look at as intellectually challenged. Sometimes it's just one aspect and otherwise it's a combination of many.
Maintaining hope and faith in God during darker days can be an incredibly difficult feat, but that doesn't mean that God loves any less or that one can't find solace in those situations. The key idea of faith is to find solace and keep our heads calm during the most difficult phases in life. The Bible provides us great inspiration that one would look for to reconnect with God and reflect on his/ her wisdom. God in His innate self promises with a new state of restoration to us through prophet Jeremiah in these words. "I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” (Jer 31:25). In Isaiah, Elohim promised to give power to the weak and strengthen the burdened. "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." (Is 40:29-31)
What we need to do in all situations is to stick more to God by remembering His words, since God would certainly have a different plan than our perceptions and assumptions. We should be able to sing along with the Psalmist: "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."(Ps 119:105).
May this week be the time when we reflect back and sing this hymn in our lives, whatever the situation, context or circumstances be. I pray that God's love, blessing, healing and peace remains with you!! Have a blessed week ahead!!
