LORD NEVER CHANGES!!

Part-1

Hello good morning children of God!! How are you doing??

Many times when we pray, and do not find answers in accordance to our notions and postings, we think that God doesn't answer. Maybe God has changed. In fact we reach out to God only to fulfill our whims and fancies. There is nothing that we do for God. This is where the scripture for the day gains importance. “I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty. “But you ask, ‘How are we to return?’" (Mal 3:6-7).

Here Malachi tells about God's immutable attributes and its implication for his people. God declares that He does not change, and therefore, the Israelites, despite their turning away from His statutes, are not consumed. God then calls them to return to Him, promising to return to them in favour. They question how they should return, prompting a deeper exploration of their need for repentance and a change of heart.

Verse 6: "I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed." It highlights God's immutability. His unchanging love, compassion, justice, nature, character, promises, and purposes in history. Despite the Israelites' persistent disobedience and turning away from God's ways, they are not destroyed. This is a testament to God's faithfulness and His covenant with their forefathers. The fact that the Israelites are still in existence, despite their failings, serves as a basis for hope for the future and a reminder of God's long-suffering.
