LORD NEVER CHANGES!!

Part-2

Verse 7: "Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty. Here God directly calls the Israelites to return to Him. This implies a need to turn away from their sinful ways and re-establish their relationship with God. This is not in vanity but with a promise of restoration. If the Israelites respond with repentance, God promises restoration, favour and blessing. God's eventual desire is to restore the relationship with His masterpiece.

“But you ask, ‘How are we to return?’" The question remains: How to Return to God! The Israelites' question reveals a lack of understanding about what repentance entails. They seem to be questioning what specific actions they need to take to demonstrate their return to God. But God is appealing for a change of heart. The call to return highlights the need for a deeper change than just outward actions. It calls for a genuine change of heart and a turning away from sin and doing God's goodness and justice at large. It is also a reminder that God has been good to us despite our ways of rejecting God.

Let's prepare to return to our Lord through Yeshua Baliraja. Have a blessed day ahead! My prayers, love, blessings and healing remains with you!!
