THE PILGRIMS GUIDE WEDNESDAY JULY 9, 2025 EXALTING THE LORD A WORD FROM THE WORD: "But let him who boasts boast in this; that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight, declares the LORD" Jeremiah 9:24 NIV As a child of God, boasting in worldly knowledge, human ability and earthly riches is equal to eternal damnation. The boasting of a believer instead should be in his personal relationship with the LORD and in His grace which, without doubt engenders and enables him to live righteously, and that, beloved, is one of the ways we exalt the LORD. All earthly values pales into insignificance when compared to the 'surpassing greatness of the knowledge of Christ.' (Philippians 3:8 NIV). Our true worth and essence in God are realised by committing ourselves to the LORD and His righteous standards and allowing Him to fill us with His Holy Spirit. Would you dare to exalt the LORD? It's up to you, beloved. *PRAYER BULLETS: Oh God my Father, for Your grace to boast about my relationship with You.
