FREEDOM IN CHRIST
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1 NIV.
From the context of our foundational Scripture, you'll realise that you have been called to a life of total freedom and liberty by the reason of the victory wrought for you by the LORD Jesus' death and resurrection. He obtained your deliverance through His precious blood. He did a complete overhauling and thorough job that guaranteed you a great life. The devil has lost completely in every aspect of your life. The LORD Jesus came out of the grave announcing His victory over hell and death.
Nevertheless, you need to realise that the devil is hellbent on capturing you in his net and is not going to give up without a fight. He will do everything possible in his power to stop the manifestation of your victory. The devil, as the roaring lion he is, will actually roar but he does not have what it takes to prevail against you. You are a winner and more than a conqueror, all you need do is to develop the Christocentric attitude that makes standing fast and winning a reality.
You should therefore endeavour to learn how to stand fast until your victory comes to manifestation. The LORD Jesus has empowered you with all that you will ever need. Rise up with your faith and take authority over the works of the flesh and the guiles of the devil and claim your victory once and for all.
No matter how bad or even difficult it may seem, choose to stand fast in liberty availed to you by the reason of the sacrificial and vicarious death of the LORD Jesus until the battle is over.
Make sure you do not submit again to the yoke of slavery.
PRAYER BULLETS:
Sovereign LORD, thank You for the benefits of Your sacrificial and vicarious death for me and mankind. Help me not return to my former ways of life in the world.
