THE PILGRIMS GUIDE THURSDAY JULY 31, 2025 BOLD AS A LION A WORD FROM THE WORD: "The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion." Proverbs 28:1 ESV. For some Christians, when it comes to the matter of living or declaring the word of God or standing out for the truth, they tend to become apprehensive and elect to join the multitude to commit sin. Our anchor text says 'the righteous are bold as a lion.' What that implies is that righteousness confers boldness on you as a child of God. It only takes a hypocrite to correct anything they know fully well that they are guilty of. As a child of God, who is an Ambassador of Christ Jesus, you must not mess with sin so that your boldness will remain intact. Reflect on this truthful fact that as long as you are on the right standing with God, and living righteously, you are in charge. Do not ever be afraid of the devil; he is not in charge, rather you are. God did not give you the spirit of fear, but rather, of power, love and sound mind. Do not ever allow the devil to intimidate you, because you are God's threshing instrument with teeth. You are God's battle axe, and Heaven expects you to, with every boldness, forge ahead and set your faith into action. You are equipped with all it takes to do exploits for the Kingdom of God. PRAYER BULLETS: Father LORD, I thank You for opening the eyes of my understanding to know that I am in charge. I boldly move on to put my faith into action and do exploits for You.
