CONSECRATED UNTO GOD 1

A WORD FROM THE WORD:

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." Romans 12:1 NKJV

Consecration from the New Testament biblical concept is giving yourself to the LORD to become a living sacrifice.
The Bible teaches us that consecration is not an option, a burden, or a weakness. Consecration is a command, a blessing, and a strength.
Consecration is not based on your convenience neither is it subject to the tyranny of your mood. It is based on God's invitation and grace. It is not a human duty or a religious ritual. It is a divine relationship and a spiritual discipline.

Consecration Honours God.

When you consecrate yourself to God, you acknowledge Him as your Creator, Owner, and LORD. You accept that He has the right to your life, body, and possessions. You concede that He deserves your worship, service, and obedience.

Consecration Pleases God.

When you consecrate yourself to God, you delight Him with your love, faith, and devotion. You pleasure Him with your gratitude, joy, and praise. You delight Him with your surrender, submission, and humility. "For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory" (Psalm 149:4).

Consecration Glorifies God.

When you consecrate yourself to God, you showcase His character, image, and grace. You exhibit His holiness, righteousness, and goodness.
You display His power, wisdom, and love. You show His kingdom, will, and glory. "In the same way let your light shine before others that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).

PRAYER BULLETS:

LORD Jesus, I thank You for Your invitation and grace to consecrate myself to You. Grant that my life will honour, please and glorify You all my days.

FURTHER READING:

Leviticus 20:7-8; 2 Timothy 2:21; Galatians 2:20; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
