*God’s Final Word of Deliverance*
*Scripture*
> “And the Lord said to Moses, ‘I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. Afterward he will let you go from here. When he lets you go, he will surely drive you out of here altogether.’”
— Exodus 11:1 (NKJV)
*When God Says Enough*
After nine devastating plagues, Pharaoh’s heart was still hardened. But here, God declares His final move—the decisive plague that would break Egypt’s grip and bring Israel out in freedom.
Notice God’s certainty: “He will surely drive you out.” What Pharaoh resisted, God would now compel. The struggle was long, but the victory was assured.
*This verse reminds us:*
God always has the final word. No matter how strong the opposition, God’s plan prevails.
Delays don’t mean denial. Israel may have felt forgotten, but God was setting the stage for complete deliverance.
When God acts, He does it fully. Pharaoh would not just “let” Israel go—he would drive them out, eager for them to leave.
In our lives, there are seasons of waiting and struggle. But this verse teaches us that there is always a “final plague”—a turning point when God says, Enough! and brings His people into freedom.
*Reflection Questions*
1. Where am I waiting for God to bring a breakthrough?
2. Do I trust that God’s timing is perfect, even when delays seem endless?
3. How can I live today with confidence that God always has the final word?
*Prayer*
Lord God, thank You that You are sovereign and faithful. Help me to trust Your timing, even in long seasons of waiting. I believe You will bring deliverance in Your perfect way and Your perfect time. Strengthen my heart to stand firm until the breakthrough comes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
