*Charis Daily Devotionals – Monday, 25th August 2025* *There Is No Peace for the Wicked* *Author:* Louis Mulongoti > *_"There is no peace for the wicked,” says the Lord. — Isaiah 48:22 (AMP)_* The path of wickedness may seem smooth and prosperous for a time, but it is never truly peaceful. Wickedness can endure only for a night, a temporary season, before the inevitable destruction follows. The Lord’s justice is sure and His patience has limits. When the wicked forget God, ignore His ways, and continue in rebellion, they set themselves on a course toward turmoil and ruin. In contrast, those who seek the Lord and walk in His righteousness experience true peace, a peace that the world cannot give or take away. Even in storms and trials, God’s presence guards their hearts. Let this be a reminder to examine your ways and choose the path of peace that comes from living in harmony with God. > *_"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.” — Galatians 5:22 (NIV)_* *Prayer/Confession* Father, help me to choose Your peace every day.
