The world teaches, “Until it’s done, tell none,” because many plans have been aborted by premature exposure. Indeed, wisdom calls for silence until the right moment. But when God speaks, His instruction is different, He commands us to write the vision and make it plain, so that those connected to it may run with it. The balance lies in discernment: not every dream is meant to be announced to everyone, but every God-given vision must be recorded and shared at the right time. Writing it down is both a declaration of faith and an act of obedience. *Charis Daily Devotionals – Saturday, 23rd August 2025* *Healing Respects Your Will* *Author:* Louis Mulongoti > *_Jesus asked him, ‘What do you want me to do for you?’” — Luke 18:41 (NIV)_* Some ask, “If healing is real, why do not preachers always go to hospitals and heal the sick?” But if you look carefully, Jesus Himself did not randomly heal everyone wherever He went. He passed by places full of sick and blind people, yet only healed those who were willing and ready. Healing respects your free will. Blind Bartimaeus had to cry out loudly when he heard Jesus was passing by, and Jesus had to ask what he wanted done, even though He already knew the man was blind. God will never force His healing or blessings on anyone. Until you submit your will to Him and sincerely ask for His touch, He will respect your choice, even if that means allowing you to continue in suffering or spiritual captivity. Healing and deliverance come only when you are ready to receive. Just because you have the liberty to do something does not mean it benefits your spirit, mind, or body. Feeding your spirit with the right things, God’s Word, prayer, worship, and fellowship, builds you up and strengthens your faith. Beware of habits, thoughts, or influences that may enslave you or draw you away from God’s purpose. Your spirit thrives on what you feed it. Every living and non-living thing, celestial being and mortal man, came to know your new status, a citizen of Heaven, carrying the very power of the Holy Spirit within you. Though your body walks on earth, your authority comes from your destination--Heaven. You cannot be killed before your time, and no curse has power over you. You are free from generational curses, because your old bloodline no longer defines you. You now belong to a divine lineage — you are a new creature in Christ Jesus. It does not matter what other people say or what revelation they claim to have. Declare it boldly: *“I can never be cursed, for I am a child of God.”* > *_“But our citizenship is in heaven. *Charis Daily Devotionals – Tuesday, 19th August 2025* *Frustrated but Not Finished* *Author:* Louis Mulongoti > *_“They bribed officials to work against them and frustrate their plans during the entire reign of Cyrus king of Persia and down to the reign of Darius king of Persia.”— Ezra 4:5 NIV_* Opposition is often the clearest sign that you are building something significant. The Israelites had received divine permission to rebuild, yet enemies arose to frustrate their efforts, through bribery, manipulation, and persistence across regimes. This reveals how demonic resistance can infiltrate systems and linger across seasons, all to wear out the saints. Yet, let this truth anchor your spirit: frustration is not final. Though the enemy delayed the work, he could not destroy it. God’s agenda may be resisted, but it can never be reversed. If you’re facing spiritual or systemic resistance, do not retreat, press deeper into the presence of God, war in prayer, and wait for divine vindication. > *_“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” — Romans 12:21 NIV_* *Prayer/Confession* Father, I declare that no force, seen or unseen, can stop Your purpose in my life.
