Heavenly Father, we bless Your holy name this morning. Thank You for waking us up with breath in our lungs and strength in our bodies. Thank You for the blessing of seeing another Monday morning, another opportunity to walk in Your purpose. Your Word says, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24 KJV). Lord, we choose to rejoice today because You are faithful and worthy of all praise.
Father, we commit this day and this week into Your hands. Lead us in the right paths, for Your Word says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6). Lord, we lean on You today. Guide our thoughts, our words, and our actions so that they may bring glory to Your name.
Strengthen us, Lord, when we grow weary. Your Word promises that “they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31). As we begin this week, renew our minds and fill us with Your Spirit. Help us to walk not in the flesh, but in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16).
Lord, bless the work of our hands. Help us to be diligent and excellent in all we do, for “whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men” (Colossians 3:23). Let our workplaces, homes, and communities be impacted by the light of Christ shining through us. May Your favor go before us, for “His anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).
Father, we lift up our families and loved ones to You this morning. Cover them under the precious blood of Jesus. Protect them from danger seen and unseen, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7). Keep us united in love and peace, for “a threefold cord is not quickly broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom to handle every challenge that may come our way this week. We stand on James 1:5 that tells us if anyone lacks wisdom, we can ask, and You will give generously. Let us not be shaken by trials, but remind us that “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
Thank You, Lord, for being our refuge and fortress. As Psalm 91:2 declares, “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” We put our full trust in You this Monday morning and throughout the week. We declare victory, peace, and joy over every area of our lives because Christ has already overcome the world (John 16:33).
We give You the glory and the honor, Lord. Go before us today and let Your goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives (Psalm 23:6).
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
