THE PILGRIMS GUIDE TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 2, 2025 LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE A WORD FROM THE WORD: "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:13-16 NKJV. Having been proclaimed as the light of the world by the LORD Jesus Himself, you must endeavour to follow His examples and trust Him to be your true light. This is because He is the Light of the world. His Light is evidently the goodness and hope that you need in your faith. Just as the LORD Jesus is the Light, and has proclaimed you the light of the world, you have the responsibility to deploy your light in the darkness around and about you, and even beyond, by bringing hope to others through the wisdom, love, compassion, peace of God that surpasses all understanding, by being a good example. When you find yourself in a dark place of life, you're not expected by Heaven to remain the same, but to let your light shine brightest in the place and situation. Inspite of how bad and difficult things may seem or how bad things could ever get, there’s always hope. Know and always remember this; whenever you’re in trouble, and not in His training in a dark place, the LORD Jesus will help get you out of it with His Light, and engrace you to shine brighter. PRAYER BULLETS: LORD Jesus, I thank You for choosing me to be a light to the world. Give me Your grace not to take this privilege for granted. May I never be a disappointment to Heaven, I pray.
