Reading about Hagar and Ishmael in Genesis 16 & 21 reminds me again of God's faithfulness and mercy in all situations and lives. The Lord God spoke to Hagar directly concerning her son because he was Abraham's son (Genesis 21:13). Hagar, in her sincere response to the Lord, gave God a name that we hold on to today as His children. El ROI. God sees you and me. Nothing about us is hidden from Him. When He speaks, listen! When He is trying to get your attention, pay attention! What He says, obey! 🙏🏾🙇🏾‍♀️
