I read someone's post today and this came to mind: Surrendering to Christ will cost me. It will cost my whole life and all I have and am. BUT Not surrendering to Christ will cost me all that AND eternal life. Not surrendering to Christ leads to death. Eternal death included. 🙏🏾🙇🏾‍♀️

Reading about Hagar and Ishmael in Genesis 16 & 21 reminds me again of God's faithfulness and mercy in all situations and lives. The Lord God spoke to Hagar directly concerning her son because he was Abraham's son (Genesis 21:13). Hagar, in her sincere response to the Lord, gave God a name that we hold on to today as His children. El ROI. God sees you and me. Nothing about us is hidden from Him. When He speaks, listen! When He is trying to get your attention, pay attention! What He says, obey! 🙏🏾🙇🏾‍♀️

This verse was and is an encouragement when I read it. Lord I choose again to get my strength and knowledge and expertise and wisdom in You and You alone. Thanks for Your daily provision of this. I choose You again today. I set my heart to always be in Your presence. I now know that is possible even while here on earth. You make it possible. You have done so when You were here on earth and You will do so again in me and anyone who chooses You over all. You turn my mourning and bitterness into streams of Your living water. You bring life. In You I keep going from strength to strength each and every day. (verses 6&7) Thank You Lord. 🙏🏾🙇🏾‍♀️

Just this morning I was thinking of the afterlife. The usual meaning of this is not godly. BUT, our spirits continue to exist after we die physically. They will exist in eternal death (hell) or eternal life (heaven). We will NOT be able to change where our spirit will be once we die. The time to secure where we will dwell in afterlife (life after physical death), is NOW. *Hebrews 9:27 NIV* ...people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,... NO redos NO 2nd chances Afterlife does exist! Where will you be dwelling? Come to Christ now. Recommit yourselves to Him now. Start and continue to grow in Him from now. *Matthew 11:28-29 NLT* [28] Then Jesus said, “ _Come to Me_ , all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. [29] _Take My yoke upon you._ _Let Me teach you,_ because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 🙏🏾🙇🏾‍♀️

Ephesians 5:30 KJV [30] for we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. ❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗ Each of us who are in Christ, who have been born again in Christ, this scripture is now our reality. We can truly 'do all things in Christ who gives us strength'. We can be who God wants us to be because of the reality of this same scripture. Thank You Lord. I rely on You.🙏🏾🙇🏾‍♀️
