Revelation 21:1-4 Interlinear English Vol 4 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea no longer is.
And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, having been prepared as a bride, having been adorned for her Husband.
And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God with men! And He will tabernacle with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. and death shall be no longer, nor mourning, nor outcry, nor pain will be any longer; for the first things passed away.
Isaiah 65:17-20 Interlinear English Vol 3 For, behold, I create new heavens and new earth. And the things before shall not be recalled, and shall not go up on the heart.
However, be glad and rejoice forever in what I create. For, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people. And the voice of weeping and the voice of crying shall no longer be heard in her.
There shall not still be an infant of days, or an old man that has not filled his days. For the youth shall die the son of a hundred years, but the sinner the son of a hundred years shall be accursed.
2 Peter 3:10-13 Interlinear English Vol 4 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with rushing sound, and having burned the elements will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be burned up.
Then all these being about to be dissolved, what sort ought you to be in holy behavior and godliness,
looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of God, through which the heavens being set afire will be dissolved, and the elements will melt?
But according to His promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
Revelation 3:12 Interlinear English Vol 4 The one overcoming, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall not go out any more. And I will write the name of My God on him, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem which comes down out of Heaven from My God, and my new name.
The New Heaven and the New Earth
Revelation 21:1-4 GNT Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth disappeared, and the sea vanished.
And I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared and ready, like a bride dressed to meet her husband.
I heard a loud voice speaking from the throne: "Now God's home is with people! He will live with them, and they shall be his people. God himself will be with them, and he will be their God.
He will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death, no more grief or crying or pain. The old things have disappeared."
The New Creation
Isaiah 65:17-20 GNT The LORD says, "I am making a new earth and new heavens. The events of the past will be completely forgotten.
Be glad and rejoice forever in what I create. The new Jerusalem I make will be full of joy, and her people will be happy.
I myself will be filled with joy because of Jerusalem and her people. There will be no weeping there, no calling for help.
Babies will no longer die in infancy, and all people will live out their life span. Those who live to be a hundred will be considered young. To die before that would be a sign that I had punished them.
2 Peter 3:10-13 GNT But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that Day the heavens will disappear with a shrill noise, the heavenly bodies will burn up and be destroyed, and the earth with everything in it will vanish.
Since all these things will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people should you be? Your lives should be holy and dedicated to God,
as you wait for the Day of God and do your best to make it come soon--the Day when the heavens will burn up and be destroyed., and the heavenly bodies will be melted by the heat.
But we wait for what God has promised: new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will be at home.
Revelation 3:12 GNT I will make those who are victorious pillars in the temple of my God, and they will never leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which will come down out of heaven from my God. I will also write on them my new name.
