Abstain from every form of evil.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22 (AMP)_* God’s will for every believer is not complicated, it is practical and life-transforming. You are called to rejoice always, even in the midst of trials. Your faith should bring delight, not despair. You are called to pray persistently, trusting that God hears every word. You are called to be thankful in every circumstance, because gratitude shifts your heart and aligns your life with heaven. But living in God’s will also requires sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Do not ignore or quench His guidance. Listen to prophetic words and spiritual insight, but always test them against God’s Word. Hold firmly to what is good, and deliberately stay away from anything evil.
