THE PILGRIMS GUIDE TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 9, 2025 STRONGHOLD IN DISTRESS A WORD FROM THE WORD: "For You have been a strength to the poor, A strength to the needy in his distress, A refuge from the storm, A shade from the heat; For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall." Isaiah 25:4 NKJV. It is important that every child of God realise that storms are natural part and component of life. The dead do not experience any kind of storms. Understand that as a child of God, you will never be able to reach your place of divine expectation and ultimate fulfilment without storms. Your attitude to storms of life determines if you'll overcome. For some, when they're demoralised due to storms, they may want to start attacking God. (1 Kings 19:1-7) That is because the arrows of discouragement makes you to turn your weapon of warfare against yourself and God. Whenever you're going through a storm, don't ever think 'I cannot', that would suddenly make you lose the 'right' to overcome it. Make no mistake about it, storms are good, and not just that negative understanding attached to it. One of the things the Devil wants to achieve with storm is internal incapacitation, don't give him that opportunity, but let every storm provide you with the opportunity to consolidate your relationship with God, for alone is your stronghold in distress. PRAYER BULLETS: ABBA Father, I am very grateful for the understanding of the storms of life You have made available to me in Your word and how to overcome them.
