ALIGNING WITH GOD'S WILL AND PROVIDENCE
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 NIV.
Jeremiah, the prophet, in his prophetic missive which was inspired by the Holy Spirit, to the exiles of Israel in Babylonia then assured them, and yet assures us, the believing children of God today that His plans for us are far beyond our expectations. As we trust in Him, we can be confident that His plan is always the best. With benefit of hindsight, reflect on how God's perfect plan unfurled in your personal life.
Even in the midst of difficulties, trust that He is working all things together for your good. The Bible reminds us that God is able to accomplish all that concerns us, and do more than we can ever ask or imagine.
Should there be areas of your life where you are struggling to trust in God's plan, without any further ado, surrender those areas to Him, and ask for His guidance and peace as you let go of your expectations and align yourself to His perfect will and providence for you.
Do all you can to align yourself to the plans of God for your life.
Also trusting on God to work out His plans for you reduces unnecessary stress and pressures of life. When you have absolute reliance on God regarding His plans for your dry patches, hard knocks; crisis of the night may come, but the peace of God will flood your heart. Remember that God's plans for you doesn't include the life of sin.
PRAYER BULLETS:
LORD Jesus, thank You for Your perfect will for my life. Even when I cannot see the bigger picture, help me to trust that Your ways are higher than my ways.
Give me the faith to surrender my plans and expectations to Your will, and embrace Your extraordinary plans for me.
FURTHER READING:
Ephesians 3:20-21; Psalm 138:8; 32:8.
