Good morning and praise God. I hope you are having a great day. Long ago, Gospel crusades were common in my nearby home center called Mũng'etho. I don't know if it was this way at your place. I would just go sit there or stand around.These kind of crusades were from ministries which were then new . Some other times it was even more interesting with the cinema commonly called watoto kaeni chini where we would watch dramatized Bible. This cinema mode was mostly from SDA. I also remember some missionaries at our home who we used to hide from but one time I was caught unawares at my uncle's coffee farm. I remember kneeling down and repeating a prayer. I also remember Jehova witness giving some tracts. The school also would occasionally send us to a nearby catholic church for a mass. Inside the church, I would enjoy going round the church wall viewing paintings of the way of the cross. One thing that I find common in all this is that some people somewhere were busy spreading Gospel albeit in different ways and how they best know it and I confess in one way or the other, they have contributed to my knowledge of God and Savior Jesus Christ. This is fulfilment of Jesus's great commission that He did to His followers after resurrection. The soldiers who'd witnessed the resurrection were then bribed by priests to lie that Jesus Christ body had been stolen from grave by his disciples and the Bible records that the lie is still being spread. Today many are bribed by online comedies and other fishy stuffs that they might forget about the risen Jesus Christ. The god of this world knows what they love most and has chosen to entertain them with that to silence them from living Jesus' followers life. Which group do you belong to today? Do you belong to the followers of Jesus Christ who're called and are spreading the Gospel the best way they know it or are you there spreading lies and listening to the same as god of this world wants? Read Psalms 1 . The work of spreading the Gospel does not belong only to priests but to all followers of Jesus. A true follower of Jesus will always have something that furthers the Gospel by making others followers of Jesus. Baptism which represents death and resurrection into new life is mentioned here by Jesus as an important part of becoming His follower. How many believers of Jesus have you made since you were born again? I know denominations dictates that only priests to baptize but how many have you brought to be baptized? I pray that we'll all turn into God's mission tools in different ways God Has enabled us through Christ Jesus.Teach where you can, guide where you can, join where you can, support financially... be actively part of the team that is spreading the Good News.
