THE PILGRIMS GUIDE FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 19, 2025 BEHOLDING GOD'S REVEALED SPLENDOUR 2 A WORD FROM THE WORD: "And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 3:18 ESV. To behold God's revealed splendour also means to live and walk in obedience to His word. As you align your life to His teachings and the leading of the Holy Spirit, you allow His Spirit to work in and through you. It is in your obedience that God's glory is displayed most prominently. When you choose to follow God's ways, and trust in His plans, you position yourself to witness a greater manifestation of His glory. Furthermore, beholding the glory of God draws you with an invite to share in His purposes. Your life is not meant to be self-serving, but rather, selflessly devoted to advancing God's kingdom. When you align your talents, goals, and resources to His will, you become a vessel that He can use to impact others and glorify Him in the lives of those around you, and even far off. As you behold God's splendour, you need to remember that it is not earned but freely given. It is a gift from a gracious and loving God who desires to reveal Himself to us. Endeavour to approach His presence with a worshipful heart, and desire to know Him more intimately. And as you do, may you be transformed from glory to glory, displaying His love, grace, and mercy to the world. PRAYER BULLETS: Father LORD, thank You for the privilege of beholding Your glorious splendour. Use me as a vessel to bring about Your glory and impact the lives of others.
