THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2025 GREATER THAN YOUR EXPECTATIONS 2 A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us." Ephesians 3:20 ESV. Your human mind is so limited that you tend to underestimate the power of God and what He can do as a result. With that mindset, you set limits on His abilities based on your experiences or lack of imagination. But the truthful fact remains that God is not limited by your experiences or imagination. He is the God who, among other things, is greater than your expectations, and He is well capable of the miraculous and doing the extraordinary things, even when you feel hopeless. In your life's journey, I challenge you by His mercies, to believe in the God who is greater than your expectations. God, our Father is the same yesterday, today, and forever.. He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and the One who holds your life in His hands. Meditate on the anchor Scripture, and let it remind you to dream big and trust in God's plans for your life. Reflect on your expectations and see if there are areas in your life where you have limited God's power, and then consider how you can surrender your expectations to Him to work beyond what you can ask or imagine. PRAYER BULLETS: ABBA Father, thank You. Help me not to limit You by my past experiences or limited imagination. I surrender my my expectations to You and ask that Your will be brought about in my life.
