John 2:10 NIV
and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
Good morning and praise God. I hope you are having a great day. Do you like sugarcane? The best cutting that is sweet and soft is the middle of the cane. The bottommost is sweet but hard to chew and the uppermost part is soft but less sweet. Long ago when we would have a full cane, we would try our best to eat the best part before meeting other children and adults who would ask for a cut. One would feel bad if you had just finished chewing the uppermost part because then the person would eat the best part. From our Bible verse, Jesus was at a wedding in Cana in Galilee. Wine depleted and his mother went to him for a solution. Jesus performed a miracle where He turned water into wine (this is one of the common section loved by drunkards to support their menace). The wine that Jesus made was far much better than one the people had been served. At the end of His ministry Jesus would still use wine as a symbol of His own blood. It is very often that most people call upon Jesus when the worldly options are depleted. They start to pray more and get dedicated to things of God when there are problems. At the prime of life, few will be dedicated to call on Jesus. The results is what wise Solomon called vanity of vanities. The only way for you and me to get the best out life is to always ask Jesus to make it for us. Don't wait for calamity inorder to ask Jesus for that miracle you need. The Bible says, ask and it shall be given, seek and you will find, knock and the door shall be opened for you. The time to invite Jesus is always. God loves you, have a blessed Sunday. Shalom. Shalom.
