THE PILGRIMS GUIDE MONDAY SEPTEMBER 29, 2025  UNWAVERING DEVOTION TO GOD'S WILL A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done." Luke 22:42 NKJV. Despite impending trials, the LORD Jesus remains focused on His mission, demonstrating unwavering devotion to God’s will. Unwavering devotion is a daily choice that is shaped by full surrender, total trust in God's will for your life; the hunger and desire to live for, and please Him, and the persistent pursuit of things of eternal values. These things are not about being perfect, but rather, they are about being committed to follow Him wherever He leads. The LORD Jesus models surrender to God’s will for us in the Garden of Gethsemane, and demonstrates that surrender (to the will of God) is not weakness, rather, it is strength in faith. You can take a cue from the LORD Jesus' unwavering devotion to the will of the Father and earn yourself the mileage of eternity in His presence.
