THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SUNDAY OCTOBER 5, 2025 NEVERTHELESS, AT YOUR WORD A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will down the net." Luke 5:5 NKJV. Obedience to the word of God is one of fastest avenues to align and key in to the miraculous. Simon (Peter) and his fellow fishermen could be said to be experts and professionals in fishing. You would trust that they possess the natural inkling of knowing when, where and how great catches would be realised. From the context of our anchor Scripture we read how they 'toiled all night and caught nothing', but immediately he chose to obey the LORD Jesus' prior instruction to 'launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.' (v 4), 'they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.' (v 6). In order to 'collide' with miraculous, especially whenever you're in dire straits like Peter and members of his fishing inner circle, you must come to the point of 'nevertheless' that activates obedient yieldedness from within you. Obedience to God's word in the believer's life cannot be overemphasised. PRAYER BULLETS: LORD Jesus, thank You for the great and mighty things you have done in my life yet.
