🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 280
DATE: 7TH OCTOBER,2025
TOPIC: THE BATTLE OF THE MIND_2
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: Romans 12:2 (KJV)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Devotional Message:
Yesterday we learned that the greatest battle a believer faces is the battle of the mind — for we are a product of our thoughts and the way we picture ourselves. To win this battle, we must intentionally cultivate a renewed and victorious mindset.
The first key to a right mindset is feeding on the Word of God. The Word renews our mind, purifies our thoughts, and strengthens our faith. The first dimension of faith is mental faith — seeing in your mind what God has promised before it becomes a reality. As Scripture declares, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
As you study the Word, listen to sermons, and meditate on godly teachings, your faith is built, and your perception changes. You begin to see yourself as an overcomer, a victor, and one to whom nothing is impossible.
The second key is the company you keep. The people around you influence your mindset — their words enter through your ears, which are gateways to your soul. If you constantly surround yourself with negative, faithless voices, your mind will be filled with defeat and fear. But if you walk with spirit-filled believers who speak faith and hope, your mindset will align with God’s truth, and you will begin to see yourself as victorious, holy, and successful in every area of life — in marriage, business, ministry, and purpose.
Joshua commanded God’s people to meditate on the Word day and night — because meditation builds conviction, renews the mind, and makes one strong in faith.
PRAYER:
Lord, renew my mind daily through Your Word. Help me to surround myself with godly influences and faith-filled people who speak life into me. Transform my thoughts so that I may walk in victory and fulfill Your will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
