TOPIC: WALKING IN POWER THROUGH PURITY AND HOLINESS
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 12:14 (KJV)
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”
Devotional Message:
Yesterday we saw how Jesus discovered His purpose from the Scriptures, which helped Him live in dominion and fulfill His divine mandate while on earth. But beyond discovering your assignment, there is another vital element required to represent Jesus effectively — power and authority.
The authority of Christ flows through those who are fully submitted to Him. Submission to Christ is not only through confession but through obedience — walking according to His Word and living a life that glorifies Him. This is what it means to live a life of holiness and purity.
The Bible makes it clear that without peace and holiness, no one shall see the Lord. Seeing God does not only refer to eternal life in heaven; it also speaks of experiencing His manifestation in and through your life here on earth. Many believers no longer witness God’s power and presence in their lives because they have tolerated secret sins that hinder His manifestation.
If we are to see God’s hand in our lives, ministries, families, and assignments, then we must guard our hearts and maintain purity. Sin blocks the flow of the anointing and limits the operation of the Holy Spirit because He dwells only in a clean and yielded vessel. Holiness is not a religious burden; it is a spiritual requirement for divine usefulness and sustained relevance in the Kingdom.
When you walk in purity, you become a vessel God can trust with His power. Holiness keeps you sensitive to His voice, stable in your walk, and fruitful in your assignment. The more consecrated your life, the greater your authority in the spirit.
PRAYER:
Father, cleanse me from every sin that hinders Your presence in my life. Help me to walk in purity and holiness so that I may represent You faithfully. Fill me afresh with Your Spirit, and let my life become a true expression of Your power and authority on earth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
