What is Faith? 💫✝️💫 As it has been handed down to us, faith is a free choice built upon an inner vision of what a person sees and perceives. It is the choice of a free life, possessing an internal freedom stemming from choosing what is best. This is why the Apostle said that faith is "the assurance of what we do not see" (Hebrews 11:1). It is a taste of life that confirms to us that there exists a path of life entirely different from other ways of life—a life without internal bondage, free from fear, and free from seeking reward out of fear of punishment, for that is the behavior of slaves. This assurance is born from the Good News—the news of the incarnate God. Through His incarnation, He revealed to us the truth of divinity. This is a visible revelation in flesh and blood, which allows assurance to distinguish that we have divine love and humility, and a special love for humanity that led the Creator of humanity to live among people.
