🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 286
DATE: 13TH OCTOBER,2025
TOPIC: THE POWER OF POSITIONING
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: Acts 3:2 (KJV)
“And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple.”
Devotional Message:
God always desires to do a miracle in our lives, but we must position ourselves to receive and become partakers of what He desires to do. In our anchor scripture, the lame man was laid daily at the Beautiful Gate. His consistency in showing up positioned him for a divine encounter that changed his life forever.
One day, when Peter and John passed by, the lame man looked at them expecting to receive alms — yet God had prepared something greater. He received not silver or gold, but healing and restoration. This miracle came not by chance but because he was in position — consistent, expectant, and faithful in being at the same place daily.
Positioning is all about consistency and faithfulness in whatever you do — whether in prayer, worship, service, giving, or helping others. Many lose their moment of divine visitation because they quit too soon. The day you give up might be the very day that your Peter and John are sent your way!
Child of God, stay consistent. Do not allow discouragement, people’s opinions, or temporary results to dictate your service or devotion. Continue doing it as unto the Lord, for He sees your faithfulness. The Bible reminds us in Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
You may not know the exact day or hour when heaven will visit you, but if you remain faithful and positioned in the place of obedience, prayer, and service, your miracle will surely locate you. God rewards those who stay positioned and consistent in their walk with Him.
PRAYER:
Father, thank You for teaching me the importance of consistency. Help me to remain faithful, steadfast, and positioned in the place of my assignment. Strengthen me not to faint or give up until I receive that which You have ordained for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
