🕊️ O Lord, You Are Sweet O Lord, O Lord, O Lord, You are sweet; there is nothing in creation that surpasses Your sweetness or resembles it. You are humble, and the humility of humans cannot be compared to Your humility. You are good because You do not crush the evil one nor kill him, even though You are the Master and his Creator, but You are patient with him so that he may repent and return. You are merciful because You accept the one who corrupts Your creation and You renew him. You are holy because You extend Your hand to impure sinners and give them of Your purity, and they are purified. You are mighty and omnipotent, because You do all this without weariness and without hesitation, but You stretch out Your mighty hand towards us to save those who seek Your goodness. O Lord, You are sweet because the incarnation of Your only Son taught us the way to You. O Lord, You are humble because the outpouring of the Holy Spirit taught us that You accept sinners. O Lord, You are good because You accept those who come to You in the name of Your only Son Jesus Christ our Lord. O Lord, You are merciful because You renew in us the work of Your only Son through the Holy Spirit, the Comforter. O Lord, You are holy because the mediation of Your only Son made You accept to work in the corrupt nature that Your Son renewed and to give it of the purity of Your only Son. O Lord, You are mighty and omnipotent because You accomplished salvation for us without weariness and without hesitation, but You give us everything in Jesus Christ Your Son and by the Holy Spirit. O Lord, You willed that there be no retreat from Your love for us, and how could You retreat after the incarnation of Your only Son, His death, and His resurrection in the flesh that belongs to us, so Your resurrection became a sign of Your eternal love for our race and everlasting mercies that know no limit.
