NO GROWTH WITHOUT GRACE 2
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"You already know these things, dear friends. So be on guard; then you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing. Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen." 2 Peter 3:17-18 NLT.
From the context of our foundational Scripture, one of the things that is crystal clear is this; there is no growth without grace. Growing in the grace of the LORD Jesus sets you free and will continually empower you. But discipline enables you to enjoy grace and deliberately seek it.
Grace doesn’t make discipline irrelevant, rather, it gives it glorious motivation and fulfilment. Don’t let grace make you lazy. Let it supply your energy.
Some of the things grace will do for you is to position you at the right place and the right time. Make you arrive at the right place at the right time. Grant you what labour cannot do.
Grace also, is the ability to attract favour and kindness. When grace comes, errors are factored out.
If you desire to grow in grace, you must endeavour to ensure the following, among others:
1). Deliberately live a life of consecration, devotion and worship to God.
2). Desire a hunger and passion for intense worship, grow your knowledge of the word of God.
3). Do not ever disregard or misuse the anointing of God upon your life. The anointing of God upon you sustains grace.
4). Develop a covenant relationship with the altar of God. Altar is among other things a place of rekindling the grace of God.
5). Maintain a life of peace. Those who are engraced are peace makers.
6). Develop the habit of giving to God's work and sowing into the lives of God's people, especially the needy, it provokes blessings that releases grace into your life.

LORD Jesus, help me through the Holy Spirit to diligently follow the required steps to growing in grace.
