THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SATURDAY OCTOBER 18, 2025 GOD'S SOVEREIGN PLANS AND PURPOSE A WORD FROM THE WORD: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Jeremiah 29:11 NIV. In the context of our foundational Scripture, we, the believers in Christ Jesus have the shadow of the assurances of God, as the Israel of God on His good plans for us; to prosper us and give us a hope and a future. God's intentional and sovereign plans for our lives as believers in Christ Jesus goes beyond what we can visualise. Let us be reminded that God is able to do much more than we can ever ask or imagine. (Ephesians 3:20) Look inwards and take note of any areas of your life where you have limited God's plans, then go ahead and surrender them to Him, and seek for the Holy Spirit's guidance and wisdom to walk in your Father's purpose for your life. Trust that His plans for you are far greater than anything you can ever think or imagine. Endeavour to go out in faith and welcome God's sovereign, intentional and purposeful plans for your life.
