THE PILGRIMS GUIDE SUNDAY OCTOBER 19, 2025 PRAYING FOR THOSE IN AUTHORITY A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." 1 Timothy 2:1-2 NKJV. Do you realise that as a disciple of the LORD Jesus, you have a responsibility given to you by Heaven to make intercession for the leadership of your church, community and nation? You may not like or voted for them, but truthful biblical fact remains that the leaders in power, and men in authority, whether they be Godly or godless, need your prayers. Part of your calling and the expectation of Heaven from you is to make intercessions for them, so that we 'may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.' (KJV). If you want to see positive changes in your community, city, state, province or nation, then you must offset the mindset of *'party spirit'*, reset it with that of the whole counsel of God, and then move ahead and embark on an impelled and heartfelt intercessions '...for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority...' PRAYER BULLETS: Father LORD, thank You for Your goodness and mercy over me. Robe me with the power of an intercessor, to make intercessions for the leadership of my church, community, city, state, province and nation.
