The Shock of the Incarnation
Jesus wrote the Gospel with His life, blood, and body, and transferred the Law from the stone tablet to the human. This is the goal of the Incarnation, and anyone who does not realize that the Gospel is the living Jesus in every human, has reverted to paganism without knowing it, because he would have then seen in the Gospel only the letter, i.e., what is written, which is meant in the Apostle's phrase: "the letter kills," for according to the Greek original, the letter is the written records, not the alphabet.
So, what is the shock of the Incarnation?
The first shock: A love that has no limits and no evil can equal it. The second shock: The axis of the Good News is the human himself, not the text, despite the importance of texts.
As for the third shock: It is that the judgment is not based on works, but on love and faith, and the greatest of all is love.
