Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

The infilling of my Lord was bountiful yesterday. His presence sat with me in the pew and he opened the lid, poured into my dwindling tank, then whispered, ‘keep going’. He gave me a loving fatherly hug, then walked out of the building with me.

When I got home, I started dinner and started the work that I had been negligent in. As I completed that task, He was very specific that I was to leave the internet and find something else to focus on. He knew my mind was a still a squirrel on crack, so he let me know that silly, unimportant television was what I needed to relax. I spent the rest of the afternoon watching cooking competition shows. There is nothing earth shattering about those shows … it is just what it is … cooking. When my husband returned from his dad’s and we spoke of his day, we enjoyed our dinner in front of the television together. This time the show was one of the new Star Treks. I laughed so hard.

I did see a video clip yesterday from a woman whom I absolutely agree with. She was scrolling her TikTok when, in her ‘for you’ stream the actual footage of Charlie being shot appeared. Not knowing what it was until it was too late, she watched the whole thing. She made an excellent point. Once upon a time, if you wanted to ‘see’ footage like that you had to search high and low for it. It was not easily accessible. Most times, you had to find your way into the dark web for such footage. Now. Now it is everywhere. No filters. No respect for the victim. No respect for the family. No respect for life. Charlie’s murder is not the only video that is there. School shootings. Church shootings. Wherever there is violence, where I am glad we have phone cameras to catch the person, that footage should only be seen by authorities for evidence.

Where were you when Kennedy was shot? Those who were alive in that time frame, will never forget. Did not need repeated footage spread in our faces of the execution.

Where were you when the towers fell? That was the beginning of the repeated in you face of tragedy…I believe. WE will never forget where we were. But we did forget what it brought us … unity.

Where were you when Charlie Kirk was shot? Those who were close to him or his message, will never forget. However, they also have to relive it … every day … because that footage is everywhere. It’s not bad enough that they are reliving it in their minds, but now when they go to scroll … whoop there it is … again.

The lady I spoke of early about ‘not’ wanting to see that footage, made a clear point. We are so desensitized to violence, we all but feed on it. To add to that thought, the enemy is extremely happy and eating it up like his favorite chocolate.

Whether you followed Charlie or despised him, there are those who have went public and said that he changed their life for the better. They picked up their bible or purchased one and began reading it for themselves. One young boy said that he was being tormented so badly at school that he was going to end his life. Charlie came to his school, and the boy listened. Now this child is serving God.

A few days ago I listed Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer as voices for God who hold the title of teacher. I explained that any wrongs that they have done they will be held doubly accountable. So is the case for Charlie. I know there are many who do not like him, and that is fine. If he led anyone astray … he will be accountable. However, how many did his words save?

I am sure that Joel and Joyce have planted saving seeds in their careers, however, over time, it appears to me that they may have lost their way. It is not for me to judge this arena; however, I do not have to participate in their world either. I wish ill on no one. I wish judgement on no one. That is not my job. My job is to plant, water, and sow the Truth. I am sure that there are those who disagree with me, some may even say that I spread hate … I don’t know. What I do know is that I am responsible for me. My actions. My words. As long as I am speaking truth in love, I am following His will.
